This is like taking the movie Gladiator, which is an amazing movie, keeping the 2/3 of the movie as it already is.
Then, making the last third a teen romance movie, unrelated to Maximus or Commodus and making important characters irrelevant. That is basically what happened to this game, it has been one way and did a whole 360, but none of the new stuff is good or likeable.

Sorry, but when I goto the War Room,
This is the screen I get. So then I click on Prepare for Battle
and so forth.
You apparantly have something different?
That's OK, sorry, I hadn't spotted the thing down the bottom left corner...too used to what was there before the war.
OK, one more question, when you win fights in the War, I see that I find like water or flour or something else and it comes up in the middle of the screen with a 'GET!' label...where do they go? Is there something special you need to do to 'get' those items (if indeed they are items). I can't see anything in my backpack
If you clicked on the Get, then they should show up in the supplies in the kitchen.
I notice that with the regions we've been conquering, we're now getting quite close to the College region. Hopefully when we've conquered that, we can re-establish contact with Madison, Veronica and the pupils.
I hope so too and are we able to check on MC's children on the faye farm and check on Kana and Annie too

The whole game has not worked since the 3rd chapter!
Not yet. I asked the dev about the farm on the war map shown as held by the fey, and apparently it's a different farm from Annie's farm where our kids are.
I can't attack any other districts, is this because they are still under development or did I miss something?

yeah still in development,the last update was mostly bugfixes and added two more locations on war map,and the eldritch taking over more,its all in the change log on the first page here when the game gets updated,but here's hoping that more locations get added or more story in the next update
I see, well that was a lot of content for a ren'py game, if I wasn't so broke I would support the dev on patreon for sure.
