It will happen automatically after a year without activity from DEV.
And in the meantime he still have 1652 subscribers
I don't really understand people who support these lazy "developers" who plays the dead bug and / or posting nothing but lies about progress. The forum shoul've change rules to half of the time - half of the year to get an abandoned tag.

Option A - Arc went to a ISCTOR seminar on how to manage your NSFW game.

Option B - It's no longer the same person that started the game. (would explain the massive change from act 1/2 to act 3).

Option C - Both of the above.

Sadly its the current state of NSFW games, for every good reliable creator you get 10 that either only update when the game is about to get the abandoned tag or those who update in a more regular way but the content is so barebones that its not worth waiting the 2/3 months between updates you need to wait a year for something more substancial.
So folks, always keep track of your patreon/subscribestar pledges and if you see red flags just cancel them.

This is one of several that I really suspect are option B. In a few cases, the developer posted in the thread and talked/acted totally different than they did before.

Even some of my favorite developers who do great work have had games that felt about 75% finished, then completely rushed the end in a really unsatisfying way and that was it, and moved on to something else. The setup is great, and its building and building and going great....then its done all of the sudden.

I think that you might be right on that. I really liked where the game was going in the first and second acts, and then the switch to the third was just jarring, and the entire thing changed in a way that I found totally negative.
in the beginning they had a different section where you could actually build stuff and even had a actual training area but for some reason got rid of it.

I have played the game from the beginning , 4-5-6 years (too old to remember). Act 1 and 2 was good - you fulfilled a lot of quests and got all the kids, with some of them you could go to the fair (kane and kid), take a bikeride (pixie and kid), go shopping in car and so on. Then suddently with Act 3 - the bucket was turned upside down, fighting and batteling, graphic was changed and a lot of stupid changes to userinterface. And the only thing dev have done the last 1-2 year are "damage controle" - correcting all the failures, errors and glitches he had made. And now he have announced there will come a major change of UI, engine and a lot of other things.
Long time players like me, without sounding like a conspiracy theorists, but it seems like the first DEV have sold the game and name, and thats why there was so radically changes in the start of Act 3, where all your efford in the predecessing 2 acts was thrown down the drain and you lost all connections to the fine ladies, the kids and the overall favorite caracter of the game, LITTLE WINGS (aka pixie). With that childish and fearsome little bug on the shoulder, NOTHING can go wrong. Sometime i see my own daughter, when she was 3-4-5-6 years in pixie, tiger in thoughts, but chicken in action :giggle:
Its nearly a year since last update and as it looks like now, i only see dev trying to get as much money out of it before the yellow "abandoned" sign will mark the game, and people find out he drag them around by their nose.
But as born optimist, i hope for the major update but fear it just will be a follow up in correction the error and failures for the next year or two, without any game progres, just like the last 2 years

And may you all have a nice weekend and may YOUR god be with you :devilish:
Lol as if conspiracy theorists, not including the theories provided by the gov themselves, have ever been wrong. So odds are not wrong here either. As someone who saw the game back when it was still only on arc 1 I've seen a slow but over time exponential decrease in quality and in content released. The game began as what seemed like the devs artistic vision but then transferred over time to donation caterer and even began creating artwork that has nothing to do with the game to satisfy them, which is one of the first signs of a failing game and because it satisfies those willing to throw their money away without thinking of the big picture which is the game development and not small treats thrown at them like they're Pavlovs dogs. Around the same time as the non game related content started getting created was also about the time they began transferring to the concept of slower updates but at the time they had stated that what would be dropped was huge updates, similar to what Summertime promised right before they removed a massive amount of content that still has yet to be put back into the game. We'll see what happens but back during arc 1 and 2 the dev was getting more then enough each month to pay my bills for a quarter year so I see no excuse for the game to be abandoned or for arc 3 to continue being such a disappointment unless they just decide to start screwing the supporters and other fans of the game.

At his peak he was making $120,000 a year to make this game lol. That is a bit over double what I get paid in a year working full time. Even now he's making more than I make in a year.
And a member the danish parlement get about 800.000 danish kroners a year - thats abut $133,000, and equal to my income for 3 full years of work, so with my eyes he is screwing the payers!!! Sorry for my bad word but im glad i stopped paying him short after act 3 was launched.

But there is 20 days to x-mas; have a nice weekend and may YOUR god be with you :devilish:

I've been following the game for years, and this is by far the longest in between updates that I can ever remember. You can read over the last few pages of discussion to see what we've been talking about in regards to this.

Taking into account the subscribstar percentage cut plus other payment fees, id say he takes maybe around from 4.5k to 5k per month. Btw im not white knighting, just trying to give a more or less realistic value of what he takes.

The $120,000 was from when he was on Patreon and making if I remember correctly a bit over $10,000 a month. Either way, $5,000 a month is still more than a lot of people make working 40 hours a week. If he was held to any actual employment standards, he would be out of a job. Or at least they'd stop paying him until he actually releases something.

I don't mean to focus so much on the money too. It's just that as a previous long time patron and someone who is in a rough financial situation at the moment, it's frustrating to see someone making more than I make working my butt off every week, only to release nothing for 10 months while saying that getting essentially a free $5,000 a month "decreases stress levels slightly."

hey nothing wrong with venting at very least if it within rules and human morality.
