Problem is. With all the scenes being pre-rendered is not like he can retroactively add new kids to the scenes.

And if he started working on scenes with the kids instead of story progression or lewds then people will start bitching.

I did some quick calculations based on the assumption of 40 kids, and if you want to have a scene with a variation for very possible combination (ignoring whether or not you could fit all 40 kids on screen) the number of variations is just shy of 1.1 trillion. I think that's probably too many for Arc to do? Even if each variation only consisted of a single 50KB image, the game would be over 50 PetaBytes.

I know that there would only be certain specific combinations, but playing with big numbers is fun, and shows very clearly why there would only be specific combinations.

Don't worry, Arc will make another game about all our MC's kids in Isekai land as a separate story.

I was rewatching some of the archived streams.

Arc really had envisioned to have around 50 kids in the daycare... Had to rewind the clip a couple of times.

But yeah, it's going to be based on groups, like which kids would synergize better with others.
Like, I'd see Lil' Roxy and the tomboy getting along (sporty and both their mothers use bats as a main weapon)

At the same time, he also mentioned that it won't have much focus on this.
Because like I said, there's this bunch of people that will be bitching about him not working on lewds/story.
And the fact that the entire pregnancy system is meant to be completely optional.

So, any new scenes with the kids might just end up being stuff that ends up being requests during the occasional livestream.
Since he always does livestream renders that don't usually end up making it into the game, might aswell ask for stuff that could make it into the game.

I honestly do wonder if some kids will be "canon" to the story, since Arc said that in the future he might keep working on the same universe of CK, but not before making a completely different game and then coming back to "CK 2: Electric boogaloo"...
Who knows.
And yes, he has hinted at the possibility of adut Alice appearing there. Can't protect her if she's an adult.

Seriously though as much as I want more lewds discovering which of the kids become close friends with each other is very interesting too. Will some of the pairings be obvious like the Lily/Roxy one or will they be less so in an opposites attract kind of way? I can see those two having a bit of a rivalry, for example.

Less of a "family game" and more of a "make a family game"... Sort of...

Most likely it will depend on their personalities and what they like to do.
The thing with Lil' Roxy and the smol tomboy was because of what I pointed out.
And Arc already said that he wanted to make a scene with those two playing baseball.

I for some reason think Kana and Jessica's kids would get along.
I'd honestly see them trying to bake a cake or something, and perhaps as a bonus have Pixie's kid either helping them or being mischievous and stealing ingredients.

I'll try my best to get the folks that are there for the livestream on board about suggesting events with the kids for stream renders.

Call me crazy but I feel the exact opposite. I play these games for the story, plot and generally interesting stuff and sex is just one small part of the greater whole. And I find the idea of having children and watching them grow up as part of the plot to be quite interesting. Just as long as it does not in fact become a parenting simulator where you actually have to do all those things like changing diapers. Too much realism is too much after all.

I never said I had anything against the concept of parenting, nor did I insinuate that the story wasn't an important factor. I just don't want to take care of 40+ kids in one game with the direction this game's harem is going hence why I tick the pregnancy stuff off. Of course I'd enjoy it if the MC had at least a child or two to take care of without the rest of the harem not wanting to bust your balls for not making them mothers too.

Anyway, added 0.9.6a to the . For those that already got the Unofficial Jessica Fix then this isn't needed.

In the Official Bugfix it disables Jessica's Shower scene if she's pregnant, fixes a small typo, but didn't add the pregnancy checks for when you cum inside her Just tossing in 'jessica2.rpy' and 'manor_jessicaroom.rpy' from the Unofficial Jessica Fix.
