Well if you are on PC it's a somewhat easy fix to get the old Title Screen back.
Luckily ArcGames is a bit of a pack rat and left all the old assets in the game just appending '-OLD' to most of them. So just take 0.6.1 screens.rpy, update some of it for 0.6.3a, adjust some of the images to use the OLD versions.
Use 'movies/intro-group1.webm' instead of 'movies/mm-pixie.webm'
Don't show the version in the Title Screen (Can easily be seen in "Options" > "Credits" anyway)
Use the old menu layout with old graphics but update the changed audio locations
