If T5 breaks were a thing, what would the chosen do? actually switch sides outright if you get all of them, or what?

that is an interesting question, but I don't think there will be a T5 any time soon (if ever)

Any advice about how to deal with a Chosen with core HATE and PLEA, and minor EXPO? I've gotten t1 con and dig breaks, but can't make any progress on her cores. Increasing her INJ doesn't give me enough of a multiplier to get HATE and PLEA up meaningfully, and without the PLEA multiplier I can't get trauma damage high enough for more openings. My standard strategy is 2x4 commanders without any upgrades attached, am I supposed to be using suppressors for this?

I got a T2 morality break before the T1 morality bug. Is that supposed to be possible or is that a bug?
That's not a bug. That just means that that Chosen hasnt used violence as an action while they're Surrounded. T1 breaks happen when Chosen use violence, beg, [the one for confidence that I think is cower but idr], or hide. They use these when they're surrounded and through multiple factors unknown to me, believe that they will reach 10k damage in one of the corresponding circumstances. Seems like you never gave them the chance.

I did give them the chance. I think they had like 30k in every circumstance at this point.

It seemed weird because I didn't get any event for breaking the T2. It just showed up when examining the girl, without any acknowledgement in the game.

Were you using a specialist Commander?

I would try to split your efforts with whoever has a significant EXPO vulnerability. If you can't get through to someone the EXPO multiplier is usually the key I've found.

No, just surrounded her and used all 4 surround actions
Well alright. That does seem like a bug then. Go ahead and share your save data and someone here might be able to help you, or at the very least it'll be here for the next time CSDev is in the forum.

Didn't save unfortunately. I'll do that if it ever pops up again.
Did you remember what the multipliers were like during this time?

like BerglorMan94 said one of the factors
Is if the chosen realizes they will reach 10k Damage with that circumstance damage and uses factors like how long they will be surrounded, their angst, and the multipliers on them to determine that.
but if you’ve broken their T2 before they do their T1 they won’t use it (in my experiences at least) in that battle, this happened to me quite a bit some times in my play throughs for a couple releases so I don’t think it’s a bug personally, I could be wrong though

Suppressors seem like a good idea for this, but it’s also a good idea to take note of the other chosen on that team to come with a strategy against the The chosen you are targeting. Since your target has the minor EXPO, see which of the other two chosen has EXPO as their significant and see what you can exploit on them. If that happens to be the chosen with two minor vulnerabilities that’s even more favorable, from there try to target her first and exploit her as much as you can before your true target arrives. This is just one strategy off the top of my head so experiment a bit and see what works and if you can’t see anything coming from your results you like, try another goal that will make your objective easier like breaking the vulnerabilities on the other chosen to make them easier to exploit to get your target chosen ready or look at what upgrades will make it easier for you to do.
Let me know how it goes and if you need more advice feel free to ask! :D

mmm, you need to use one of the other chosen as the first one to attack, but it depends on how corrupt are the others.

- The more direct way is to use the 2 other chosen EXPO to get extra damage, and prioritize hate and inju on the target.
- Get a higher EXPO corruption with the chosen that has it as core, that way you can overuse EXPO with the target chosen until you can use broadcast on both chosen.
- Prioritize strickly Hate as you try to do combos, if you try this, DO NOT WASTE A TURN WITH PLEA
- Give up trying to get higher corruption with her and use that minor EXPO as extra damage for the other chosen

Thanks! This was very helpful. It hadn't occurred to me to start with the Chosen whose EXPO I'm trying to exploit rather than my main target. When I started with the Chosen with significant EXPO, I was able to get a t1 innocence break on my main target. And then when I started with the Chosen with core EXPO, who is the one with two minors, I was able to get the last core t1 break (morality) and a t2 dignity break against my main target (looking forward to using that EXPO multiplier against the others), plus a t2 morality break against the Chosen I started with.

Well, I beat loop 6 in campaign mode after 2 weeks of trying to master this damn game:

Yokosuka - Day 36
Damage Mitigation: 19% per level
Preparedness: Final Battle on Day 35
Luxuries: 193% Trauma resolution speed
Elites: 1 Superior Chosen

I think loop 7 might actually be impossible, though. These are my options:

Kanazawa
Damage Mitigation: 9% per level
Preparedness: Final Battle on Day 38
Luxuries: 596% Trauma resolution speed
Elites: 2 Superior Chosen

Amagasaki
Damage Mitigation: 26% per level
Preparedness: Final Battle on Day 35
Luxuries: 309% Trauma resolution speed
Elites: 1 Superior Chosen

I would say that both are bad cities but maybe Kanazawa is better if you can temp at least 1 sup chosen.
