Th distortions are tied to how the girls react to being surrounded - do enough Injury damage for example and she might beg for them to be less rough with her. That's considered a Confidence break.

You can hit them with whatever attacks you like as long as they aren't surrounded. Once they are, you're somewhat limited, as there's a specific limit of each damage type before the girl decides to break her Morality, Innocence, Dignity, or Confidence. Doing so protects her from the damage type associated with it, but also makes her generate more EE for you and move further down the distortion path.

If you want to be careful, once you can access the girls' pages with the psychic upgrade, you can go in there and select a distortion path that's valid for them. If the girl has no breaks because it's day 2 and you've done diddly squat, all her paths should be open, but if she's been fucking for a while she'll already have a Morality break.

Once you select a path, the buttons will change colors. Green usually means selecting that option will move them forward on their Distortion path, and Red means it'll lock the path. So don't pick red options.

The easier route though is to not distort at all. Distortions are more for people who've gotten a handle on the game mechanics and are looking for a way to be more challenged and more rewarded.

Yeah sorry I'm just starting out, I meant commanders, and yes I meant without a time limit. I'm not really sure what a lot of the terminology means, I tried searching through the thread but there are a lot of pages and the search function provides a lot of non-relevant results. Like whatever Distortions are, my first chosen has listed: "Innocence/Dignity Distortion: Do not break Innocence or Dignity (hiding is okay)," does that mean I don't want to use slime or taunt attacks on her? Because those are her two biggest weaknesses, and I'm not sure what "hiding" is referring to.
To get a loop without a time limit, you'll need to use cheats to roll back the day before you reach the final battle (i.e. day 50 in single scenario or loop 1). Also, basic attacks such as slime or taunt are riskless when it comes to distortions, feel free to pelt the chosen with them depending on what status you need. The "hiding" action refers to one of the actions the chosen will use to cope with the trauma you will continually inflict upon them. Like Karnewarrior said above, just avoid using punisher actions that break distortion (available when when the chosen reaches a specific threshold of status and you specifically select the option). Also note that some specialist commander types will break distortion depending on the matchup. Since you are new to the game, I would recomend either using the day roll back cheat to learn the game without a time limit until you can win without its use (in 50 days) or follow one of numerous guides that can be found in this thread.
Cheats may not be immediately available, so you need to go to options to enable them if my memory isn't failing me.

Distortions are a set of optional alternative corruption paths that each involve being selective in how you break the Chosen. Until you've beaten the game once, I suggest you ignore them and just try to get every Break on all Chosen.

If you want some help with that, I wrote a 4-part guide to the basic game, including a day-by-day example playthrough (because of randomness in the Chosen generation, you won't be able to follow it turn by turn or anything, but it should give you a sense of how a game tends to go). Most terminology ends up explained in there, though it's not all in one place:

CSdev I found a bug with current release where when I tried progressing to the next city and the forsaken message came up about pregnancy progressing it freezes and won't continue every time. The first time worked fine but I decided to reload before choosing the city and now it won't progress to the city selection:

View attachment 3352272

And then if you maximize the screen then put it back to normal while it's frozen like this all the buttons completely disappear

View attachment 3352274

Just figured I should let you know
Can confirm that this bug is still happening in Version 50. It seems to be triggered by going to the Next City screen, then backing out before choosing a new city. So if you go to the Next City screen, you must proceed to the next city or the bug will occur and ruin the save file.

EDIT: I just tested this theory by trying to recreate the bug, and I was able to hit the Next City and back out without triggering it. My bugged save file is still bugged, however.

Got it too:
If chosen is pregnant and after clicking "next city" she gives birth -> that bug appears.
If she just progress to next preg stage, than no bug.

Mb just move that progress event after player selected next city??
Also, just realised, that we can try to impregnate the chosen again just for lulz to see how game reacts.

Game is good but too long. It should be rebalanced to 30 days per loop. 50 days is just too tedious.
It's just at the start.
I got to the 20-days loop with either 3 animals or super/dead/devil
Not gonna lie, I cheated via cheatengine... and it's still hard, man.

Question:

Got boss "Splendor", who have nasty quirks. It is said in her description, that these can be turned of or via bargain (hell no), or via capturing other commanders.
So how many loops after her till next boss??

ps that "usless" is pretty much greate against devils, lol. She always have 20k expertise and considered as "strong forsaken". So instead throwing my "beloved" generals to be sucked dry by devils (+% hypno), we can just reuse her endlessly.

To be fair, the bargains aren't actually bad to do. As for disabling her issues through other bosses, that currently isn't possible just due to a lack of bosses, as currently there are only two boss loops, Loop 10 and 15.

Well, I had a feeling, that, since there are 2 girls with 1 pic only, the game lacks in bosses. Still, it's a bit annoying to just tolerate Splendor. I would gladly trow girls under the bus to shut her, but since I wanted to "recruit" 1 whole family, I was a bit short on girls, who meant nothing to me :/

To be fair, the girls with 1 pic only are NPCs, not Chosen you fight. Though yeah, that's the judgement call you have to make with picking Splendor first, you're trading an easier boss loop for having to manage a problematic Forsaken.

it would be neat if the forsaken recongized alternate timelines of themselves (say if you loaded a file after beating them in one way in the final battle to see how other ways of playing out could go) as, alternate versions of themselves. if you got different timelines of them as forsaken, or fought their past chosen versions with their forsaken version of themselves. it might be hard to implement tho, idk.

The item: Dimensional Kaleidoscope can make this happen, essentially. I've not played with it much but you can access it in the Devilish clash under Single Play, if you'd like to see how these situations are treated via dialogue and interactions.

Ehmmmm i know cheating may broken the game but don't know it's can be this broken. Pls dev, you can add some feature about auto backup save file or separate the one big save to many smaller one like actually save slot in game.
Btw i find the bug when the chossen become futanari and Demon Lord meet her and make her cum, the game freezing when the chossen cum and literally can't continue , because it's gone (the button) and can't do anything about it. (sorry for my bad EN but damnnn the save broken hurt like a truck - not much time waste because it's cheating but it's hurt)

I managed to get 1 forsaken in my campaign loop. What do I do with it on the second loop?
Congratulations! With time I know you'll be able to to corrupt the whole team in further loops.

As for what to do with your forsaken, I'd recommend training a forsaken to easily break T2 vulnerabilities for your chosen that cost a very low amount of EE, that way it can make your next few loops easier by jumpstarting the early game process a bit. With a decently trained forsaken you can break the T2 of chosen as early as day 3 or 4 if you pick up the "focus" first instead of extra extermination or evacuation time.

Since it's your first forsaken I'm not going to bore you with the nitty gritty and just recommend some corruption ranges and fighting styles to train your forsaken in.

Disgrace - 10EE(67% Dignity for Base forsaken) - 2EE(95% Dignity for Base forsaken)

Having 95% disgrace is good since it means you only need a day or two get EE for using your forsaken early on in the loop. You shouldn't do this all the time but for this style of forsaken you should aim for "cheap to deploy" and "easy to maintain" with that second part mattering more with the hostility and obedience of the forsaken which I'll leave that for later when you get more comfortable for game.

As for fighting style, try any 1-2 damage fighting style for your forsaken. For which damage type specifically it should be in the T2 you want to get the most. If you like insemination then HATE is good, INJU is good for sodomizing etc. In all honesty though, a INJU based fighting style might be the best since you don't have enough forsaken to train properly and the Drain (INJU) training action will break your forsaken less than something like a Raid (HATE) or Fixation (PLEA) these final training tier actions will be your best way to train fighting styles for your forsaken currently. Grand Concerts (EXPO) is also how you will be raising your forsaken Disgrace to the 95% range so EXPO damage is also a good idea for your current situation. While 95% is my recommendation, I know it will be bit hard to hit it specifically without a trainer so try to get it at least in the 80%-90% range at least. Also if your forsaken has low disgrace you might need to raise it through broadcasting her or tentacle show so she'll agree to a grand concert. It depends on your forsaken current corruption values so yeah

Since this is your first forsaken try not to break your forsaken in too much with too much Hostility or Deviance, even Obedience might be too much but it should be okay in this specific situation.

If I were to advise a goal for your current loop, while corrupting all 3 chosen would be great getting at least one more would be a good goal, since then you can use the trainer position to train your forsaken into specific fighting styles more safely and increase the corruption ranges of your forsaken to more precise levels.

If your loop or next campaign goes well and you have more forsaken to work with feel free to come back here and ask some more questions about the other aspects of forsaken training I skipped over, there are a couple of guides already here made by some great members of the community that I believe can help you a lot.

Either way hope you have a fun time with the game! :D

Oh and for anyone that like the small pack i did for Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete, I finished the portraits for Basier and Leoparde as well as add forsaken + corrupted outfits for the Tres Magia Girls.

Since Basier and Leoparde were never “good” magical girls i decided to take some creative liberties for their chosen transformation, their forsaken appearance is hopefully accurate their enormeeta look though!

And since the Tres Magia aren't Villians like Enormeeta that means I had to take some creative liberties for their forsaken forms. Since this was just a little side project I didn't want to go too hard on it so forgive the blatant recolor lol

Everyone also has "-C" portrait variant to use once they're sufficient corrupted in the loop using different lewd and neutral expressions along with a more sluttier version of their Magia outfit

Their civilian school outfit also has some alterations to match!
I also made the custom chosen roster including them all, so all you need to do is pop the portrait pack and import the roster and you're good to go!
I had to make a mega link this time since now the files are too big to just be an attachment on here I guess:

Overall was pretty fun project, I might add superior variations once I have some free time but this was great project to practice some expressions and techniques that I'll be able to use in the main portrait pack. I hope you all like it the pack and roster! :D

Well if you're fine with the Tres Magia not being uniform, then there's actually already a "forsaken" version of Magenta in the series to look to as inspiration
