So is the fact that Reign uses her T3 moves at level 1 circumstance intended? Her description says she starts using at level 2 but I guess it means she uses them if she gets to level 2 on using the move. It means that at level 1 Inju she will immediately break out which seems a bit too busted ngl. It will only give 3% progress each day as well. Guess she kinda works as a buff for punishers who can decrease the requirement for t4 breaks with how little punisher% you get.

Oh well I will just get the t3 hate break and turn her into a forsaken since getting 8%~ progress each day for morality break isn't exactly going to be enough.I guess you have to start with t3s on day 7 for a better chance to get t4s.

Christ i'm trying to read posts here to figure out the game and it's so dense it feels like programming :ROFLMAO:
I got one question and the rest ill try and figure out myself ; What do you guys mean by loop ? the game "resets" and you keep your stats or ?
EDIT: i figured out what loops are.
Is there a game over ?
Edit: sort of, 50 days but you can cheat.
Fuck me what a dense game

Okay, anyone looking for boss distortions and comments on them in one place, here they are.
If you are going to archive this, I"ll probably take the time to fix the errors and add a section on Reign and the Splendor buffs. The wiki might be a better place as well, but honestly I am not fully confident in my understanding of the game for me to make a guide on the wiki.

I dunno, probably ask to add something a post connected to wiki on the main page, I can't really say what wiki lacks that needs extra information or clarifications before visiting wiki. Maybe an overview of the gameplay as a whole, like explaining a boardgame for the first time(as something I often do), can be helpful to give an idea what people get in. Aka. 1)Goals, 2) How to reach them, 3) How to begin to interact with gameplay, 4) What to look for next and where to look for xtra information. I think it will be useful and something that doesn't exist as of right now. Maybe FAQ too.

Also I know people have checked the code for Twisted Reward; how/where are the weights calculated? Because digging through the code myself I see only this:

1737782188582.png

And while sometimes it does feel like the weight is permanently 0 even if I am hitting barely shy of 100G in a single trauma, I can't find where is actually is calculated.

Also now doing an Negotiation/Aversion based run, aversion does feel pretty terrible later, as one of the main ways to deal with angels is forcing double orgies, which aversion prevents completely; not the end of the world and certainly not unbeatable, but it does make Twisted Reward hard to get. Negotiation would be similarly awful if Reign didn't exist.

Now I am rewriting the boss text a bit and decided to check out the code for confirmation on some of the number and I have discovered that the wiki as omitted a few important traits to the bosses:

Love (and maybe all bosses' except Reign's) Despair:

Judgment's Megalomania:

the game is less complicated than it seems.

There is no randomness. Everything is based around doing exponentially more damage by dealing various types of damage to breach milestones.

After a battle all the top layer damages (the ones that are dealt before surrounding a Meguca) are totalled together and added into an ANGST total, which determines the milestones for Evil Energy generation and corruption scenes.

The most efficient way to increase the top layer damages is to get some turns on surround, then surround the chosen and deal their least favorite kind of trauma to them. Different surround damages have different effects.

Here is the updated complete boss guide. Added sections for Splendor's buffs, Reign's buffs, some fixes to numbers and some changes in opinion following the dive into the code. Also better formatting.

Yeah, been playing for around 5 hours with cheats to see what does what and stuff.
Ill start a clean save, the game is certainly fun.
Do you have to do something specific before day 50 so you won't get a game over? like get a girl to turn sides to you or something ?

As long as you manage to whittle down the resolve of 2 out of the 3 girls in the final battle, you´re good to go.
The "how" you drain that resolve becomes a lot more important once you´re going for a campaign rather than a single play, since it affects the resulting forsaken.

Not sure if Artisan not being frozen here is a bug or not. Also sometimes angels didn't have the "Escaping alongside ally" text.

Well I just go for what I feel like, because to be perfectly honest, beside for Reign I don't think there is a need to "optimise" the bosses, and even for Reign maximising the damage bonuses is overkill as well. For my current run I did aversionReign and negotiation on every other boss because I was hoping that the negotiation vignette would show up in boss fights as well (it doesn't). If I wanted to win asap I would do tempt on all bosses, including Reign, and if I wanted misery I'd do negoReign plus literally anything but tempt on every other boss.

If I had to guess what is the strongest as of right now I might say megaloSplendor (loop 10), temptReign (14), megaloVictory (15), megaloLove (20) into rampge/temptJudgment (25), though I can't even pretend to guess what something like a despair-heavy run would look like or how strong it is.

What's this?

1737996579812.png

Maybe it's because I negotiated on day 3 (the third appeared on day 2) before the 3 Chosens had introduced themselves?

You can collect forsaken in Single Round play sure. All you need to do really is not kill them at the end.

However, you'll have little to do with them once they're on-side, since it's not campaign and you're done playing at that point.

single round play is played to train a little, you should jump into the campaign the moment you get 2 out of the 3 girls as forsaken (thought I recommend you get a perfect victory instead)
