Guys check out my beginner's guide, would it be good enough to make it into post and link to it in the main post? Just wanna hear you thoughts and critique to make a simple guide for newbies, covering FAQ on here.

I think we already have a lot of text guides that ship with the game that people don't read. So while I won't say more info is a bad thing (I think the wiki had an effort on that 'getting started' front too if I'm not mistaken?), I think putting it in the main post is overkill.

I just see people coming in again and again asking for some basic things. Guides included in the game can be overwhelming, even 'THE guide' dumps a lot of info without in-game context and wiki has step by step walktrough, which is a bit too much. Hell knows, maybe duds will be duds not accesing available information.
It's easy to feel like there's too much information when you float here a lot, but not all people know where to see what they NEED to start. And walls of congentially related text is a turn off...probably. With f95 not having any kind of info repository all that is left is searching online, asking here or trudging through more txt files included.

Hello, sorry to ask if this information can be found in one of the dozens of guides/hundreds of pages, but how long are the pregnancies?

Haha, its fine to ask, someone is just salty. I haven't seen any certain numbers, but from experience it takes several loops in campaign. You get notified of the progress and birth when you finish loops.

Thanks a ton! I've been playing a bunch, and these smaller details always intrigue me. I was on the verge of crashing out after looking through over 40 pages :KEK:

Does anyone know if this game is getting updated more at all? It seemed to be updated every month like clockwork, however it's now been 3-4 months without an update.

It has been 2 months. And in that update the creator wrote that they would not do an update on december. So a update should be comming in the next few days, unless there is a problem.

I think no matter what you do, you'll always get people who don't bother to read and come in to ask questions. You can look for ways to improve the info available but you'll never spam enough info in enough places to reach everyone. And you do run the risk of turning off people who open up a thread and are immediately bombarded by guides and instructions before they even know what they're looking at.

You have to design for the median person, because no matter how badly you try to design for the dumbest one, the world will make someone dumber.

Unfortunately, this thread hasn't been updated for a while but the game has still been getting regular updates. Release 61 came out today but you'll have to get it from the dev's links in the first post.

Is that a Splendor nerf? :( I loved rerolling for items, though admittingly having perfect items every run might be too much. It makes specific builds (like right now I am running a Prism-focused run) significantly harder, and while in a roguelike that's not a bad thing (it's probably desirable to have runs be different), it feels a bit weird in CS since the campaign mode takes literally weeks to play through. Not sure if I like (or dislike) the change.

Also not going to lie I am shocked that it was Reign's Superheated Resentment (rampage, +damage per EE to:

that got changed instead of the despair bonus; in fact the bonus looks perfect for despair as well. It seems to fit with a lot of the other bonuses, where it helps another distortion more, but despair was one of the bonus that broke this pattern, and +150EE is really situational if despair doesn't require so much EE anymore.

So the new trait encourages you to go from t3-> Backwards for max benefit huh. Another energy generating trait which seems somewhat pointless to me.

Isn't the 150+ee trait for Megalo Reign?(based on wiki) Either way I still don't understand why you would need energy after final breaks anyway.

Here's the code:

And regarding the power of the new bonus, purely from first glances I agree that it looks really bad. I understand that it guarantees a +15EE quickly if you get an early T3 break for Despair, but a rampage does +30EE, and the right forsaken can trigger it early as well. The other Reign's bonus are great and does a lot when if you are not going for the distortion that you want, while this one looks to be almost irrelevant unless you want to go despair, and is not even particularly good at it.

Interesting change to Fisher King (Superheated Resentment). It's probably better than what it was, where it rewarded hording EE. But I'm not sure how useful the new one is? Once you start getting to T3 breaks, you'll have inflicted enough trauma that the chosen are already generating the max possible EE. So you're basically only going to be benefiting from T2 and T1 breaks. Which provide a much smaller payout.

Would this be overpowered if it triggered for all chosen? I.E. if one chosen had a break, all chosen generate the max EE that they can, ignoring trauma.

Would this be overpowered if it was permanent? Or just within the first x days?
