Yes and? It's still just the public build. A new way to save and update your game doesn't change the fact that it's same thing we've been getting for free every months.

The Steam Trading Cards and Achievements aren't even a part of it yet, not only that, what would you even do with them in the first place? Who cares about cloud saving because you're only ever gonna play it on your computer. It also doesn't take a long time to get through most of the content at hand anyways. Auto-updating... You already auto-update the game yourself if you frequent their site or here anytime a new update comes out... Soo... what's the point?

Also to probably exploit people who didn't know about it but just happened to browse the steam store while horny. Also did anyone watch the trailer? Those environmental shots at the beginning are just lies, also something hilarious about the music playing and then the player clicking doggystyle.
Just a theory. Maybe they used the Steam platform since the patreon is scummy with censorship and about to get nuked with the lawsuit. And to provide the players who want to support the game without having to pay monthly. As for the issue with why public and not backer builds, I think if they provide the backer builds they would lose plenty of patreon supporters. Some may want to stay as patreon backers just to show how much they can support but some might leave seeing steam is a much cheaper alternative to gain the backer builds. Just my personal opinion anyways.

There are no mods for CoC2 that I know of, and I have no reason to believe any will be made until CoC2 is in a finished state. With that said, I also haven't looked for any. I can guarantee they won't be on the Fenoxo forum.

Well I certainly appreciate being able to see this info... Not that I was gonna pay 10 bucks for a porn game on steam any time soon (subverse may be the only porn game to get that honor.. we'll see how the release shapes up) but good to know what kinda of stuff they're trying to pull.

You're mixing up 2 characters.
Owca village is under attack by Vapula the succubus, who can be made into a slave if you defeat her enough times.
Running around the mountains may result in encountering Ceraph the omnibus. She's the one who will give you magical piercings that add fetishes if you submit or lose to her.
If you win enough times you can dominate her, and she's the one who can be made to hide her dick on demand.
Correct me if i'm wrong but to enslave Vapula you not only had to beat her several times but also have high levels of corruption right?

Followup content for her (Frost Hound/Wayfort) doesn't exist yet, sadly.
