My biggest issue with Quin is he's just not as useful as other companions that I use. Don't know how good he is now with his training quest and his new armor and such, but in the past he just seems to die a lot. I'd have him in my party and in one scene it would be "Quintilius is heating up!" And then a round or two later, he's already dead. Brint/Arona/Azzy and even Atuga are better options for my party most of the time.

So the majority of my adventuring, Quin is in the Frost Hound harassing the waitresses.

Listen, I love muscular girls. I love rowdy girls. I love when they think they're hot shit and you bring 'em back down to earth. But Byvernia just isn't likable. Maybe Bubbles is incapable of making an appealing character or some shit, I don't know man. All I know is every character he makes is just completely unappealing. Maybe his shitty attitude is part of the reason, no idea.

Honestly if that's actually Bubbles asking, I'd say that's some character development right there. Finding out why people dislike parts of your writing is necessary to improving it, after all. Doing it on a burner account does serve purpose too, since people might filter themselves if talking to Bubbles himself about his own character.

Bubblelord is by far the worse writer even Skandranon barely defends him and is harsher than me about him at times. Guess the year will end with an asexual character talk about a shit way to end a shit year.

For next year I guess we have the following to look 'forward' to :LUL:

Etheryn decaging (very skeptical about this one heard a leak a while back that he will do pregnancy via proxy?)
Alante marriage (Meh wish we knew more but so far so good I guess.)
Main story continuation (Doubt Cow city will end next year)
Brint/Brienne family marriage (Top of my list)
Jstar Kitsune Husbando (fingers crossed he will be great the 2nd highest for me personally)
Lumia quest with Valkyrie (As long as Alypia sticks to writing smut rather than comedy we should be good.)
Hirrud genderswap (Mixed about this as I feel that this could turn into pure revenge porn because of who this represents.)
Hive corruption (Looking at the corruption content so far I have zero expectations.)

Was hoping to at least end the year with one of the above. Since for me this has been the worst year so far in CoC 2 it would be very hard for next year to be worse but I won't tempt fate and keep my expectations low. I might be in the minority and I understand why as Berwyn's departure was a low blow but Demon Viv was better than expected but to be fair I didn't expect much. Basically I feel like she has potential to open up a decent corruption path for the party in maybe another 5 years :KEK:

It does seem like almost all the writers started major projects around the same time. Theoretically, this means we should be getting a lot of solid content in early 2023.

Brihaus, LumiaQuest, RynQuest should all be rolling in in the first few months.

LumiaQuest is the big one for me, followed by Ryn stuff.
Briennes family is kinda whatever, I just want Wsan to get it out there already and work on the arena (and KM in general, as the faster he finishes KM the sooner we get more dryad content and Evelyn stuff).

Gardeford has also been plugging away at more centaur village things he's almost done with. I think he's finishing up a bunch of Ahmri content (and Ahmri is adorable so I want this badly) some of which is introducing Ahmri and Atani. Also he's making more corrupted Centaur village stuff, but I doubt that's soon.

Someone screen shotted it a few pages back something about pythons can't remember exactly, when I come across something awful I try to erase it from my memory and to never fully read it again. People are kind of mixed on Alypia but to me personally I like her female MC orientated smut its covers some kinks and fetishes I like. So I understand why players who run male MCs don't care for her work much which is fair.

More Wsan and Gardeford sounds good to me. I enjoyed some of the preg orc harem content a lot in fact any preggo snuggling is good in my book. As for Atani and Ahmri I down for improving relations between two factions and negotiating new trade agreements just good to see older characters get expanded on. Atm too many surface level characters but honestly the ones that need expansions ASAP are Agnimitra, Viv and Atugia. For party members they have less depth to them than a huge amount of NPCs in the game and it doesn't feel right.

They must be holding out on us, cause the last few updates have seemed to have less content that usual. I feel like it's been nearly a month since we got some "decent" content. I just wanna marry brienne's family already, it feels like it was so long ago that we last had content regarding them.

I actually think way too much time and effort is being spent on Brihaus at this point.

I mean, honestly, this is basically a pair of non-story related side characters that have now been holding up the main plot for like...4-6 months? And they still aren't done.

Not only that, there are other Wsan characters made before them that haven't gotten more than a single scene basically since initial content (Evelyn, dryads...). Brihaus got put in last year iirc. They're relatively new. They should be further back on the docket if anything.

I feel like it's a at least a little bit of a contributor to the general feeling that stuff has gotten a bit slow.

With Brihaus not even being done, Wsan won't even start on the arena until well into next year, which means into won't be finished until the back half most likely...and there's still 1 or 2 sections of KM after that.

Idk, it seems like either something that could have been added after KM, when the writer of the actual story wouldn't be tangled up in side stuff, or added in smaller sections.

Not to mention the salt where Brint players are kinda being screwed because Brint players don't get to marry the family, just Brint himself.

Buuut Brint enjoyers are probably used to it at this point.

I think it's telling that Wsan is getting stuck on side content more than anything else. I doubt his speed would improve if he was doing something more important.

His speed is fine imo. Look how fast KM was being pumped out from when it launched. I don't really doubt that Brihaus is going to be a substantial chunk of content when it comes out.

I'm more irritated about its placing.

What I want is to finally meet the minotaur king because it is possible that he will give us clues about Brint's father.

I no longer care about marriage to Brint or his harem of cats............any detail or content is acceptable at this point............if you hear that a genocide of cat girls occurred, ignore it, it was for the prosperity of the world.
