This tbh. It's a nice change of pace. A lot of people don't seem happy about the bad end, but personally I'm ecstatic that we finally get some kind of finality with a hard dom futa. There are so many scenes where the PC can become a total cockslut for one specific character, futa or otherwise, but then at the end of the content the PC just walks away like nothing happened. It's good to have some consequence for once.
I will say, I would’ve liked the content to be easier to find, as the overworld encounters are a pain in the ass to get, but that’s more of an implementation matter than a writing one. My only real gripes with the content itself are that the magic cockring is underutilized and Kalysea's final elevation doesn't feel very consequential.
For the former: I understand whatever magic she uses on PC melts their brain pretty quickly even before she becomes a follower, but the ring doesn't feel like it really changed anything. Once she's at camp the ring only comes up a few times. It would've been nice to see how it warped the dynamic further, instead of it only being relevant at the start and the end. The first "trip" and sharing Equi felt far more meaningful to the progression than the ring did imo, which is a real shame given the whole theme of the character.
Which kind of leads into my issue with the latter gripe. Once Kalysea locks you with the ring everything just kinda ends. I understand that the implication is the PC is basically useless compared to her and it wouldn't work mechanically to have you playing afterwards, but the fact that it kinda just happens and then you're done is a little lacking in impact compared to, say, Evelyn's dragon form, for example. Obviously it being a bad end means it’s definitionally more impactful, but its brevity dampens things for me. IDK, just would've been nice to have a little more meat there.
Overall I liked Kalysea’s portion of the update a lot. Not my favorite of Wsan’s futa girls, still a lot of fun anyway. I’d definitely love to have some more options with her in the future.
