Cait's a religious prostitute. Rejecting building a temple to her god causing her not to want to date you makes perfect sense. Shes basically a sex cleric. Also, I dont get why the choice is a big deal. Why would you reject the temple but still want to date Cait?
Here's an even better question: Why would you want to date Cait?

I dunno man, I just feel like putting the temple literally on the middle of the way to the lord's mansion kinda give them a lot of influence, since everyone who would go to the lord would also have to go to the temple too
It's not like Carmen has much in the way of resources to offer or that most people would have a reason to go see her beyond assuming that she has more authority than she actually does. She'd probably prefer if you didn't come to her to in the first place as well unless you happen to be a virgin with cock & balls.

What does that even mean?
One of the super long term plans for the game (so nothing we'll see in our lifetimes because Salamanderopolis won't get added for a least another 50 years), is that Cait will be able to get married to the player, in the ending of the alternative route of hers where you don't build the Mallachite temple in Hawkethorne to encourage her hypersluttery.

Coz I can fix her!

Y'all still believe that it will matter if the Temple is built or not?

Remember when picking the Amber Orb in the Ruined Shrine used to give you a warning about this being an important decision? Remember when it was planned that you could side with Taoth against Keros? Remember when all this was dropped and forgotten after Savin realized that too much content would become inaccessible no matter which side the player would choose?

There's nowadays too much content and characters in the Mallachite Temple. They're not gonna force you into a sadistic choice between the Temple and dating Cait. That 2021 forum comment posted above is definitely outdated, and should be ignored.

Well okay, but what would marrying her actually do? The hypothetical player who's into her character is now suddenly getting possessive of her?

Why would it involve being possessive?

One of the ideas Savin has floated is a slut wedding where you and Cait get gangbanged by all the partcipants.

It will do literally nothing, aside of one scene of both the player and Cait getting gangbanged during the "wedding" ceremony.
Then it's back to the usual after that scene ends.

You can always start as an Orc Warrior Barbarian and then change your race to human, everyone kinda does the racial swap to their characters lol.

to answer your question yes the other half of the Veteran that gives ya like a +25 to damage is the good one everyone picks, slap that bad boy with the level 7 perk that lets your normal attack be an AoE and you do good damage.

Honestly I've never tried to be a tank in this game, everyone seems to have an ability that gives them stupid levels of threat anyway so it always seemed to me like it wouldn't work as intended/the enemies will ignore you in the long run, maybe you can make a badass tank? Good luck!
Yeah, going to take you're advice might as well restart it not much of a fan sitting in the sidelines. :v

Does someone have a archive of the older versions for CoC2?

Specially for the versions before they dropped Berwyn or Berry from the list of companions?

I wouldn't worry about that. It was years ago when Alypia even talked about that. It's 2024 now. It may not even matter anymore. Who knows.

They don't lack the critical information.
I always found that one funny.

Reasons to build the temple:
  • Completes a quest and questline;
  • Fills in an area on the map that’s a blank hole otherwise;
  • Grants access to half a dozen new characters, with probably more on the way;
  • Unlocks a bunch of content with said new characters, as well as preexisting ones.
Reasons not to build the temple:
Gee, I wonder why everyone thinks it’s in their best interest to build the temple.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but you unlock Kassyrra's sex scene & advance her romance quest if you do build the temple and find her random encounter there right?

All I know is that after that encounter next time you talk to her in the ways between you get the option to hear her crazy plan and unlock the sidequest to Redeem Kassyrra.

You encounter Kassyrra disguised as a catfolk, get a one time sex scene with Kassyrra (and Cait too if you choose to include her), and she has chat with Mallach. I'm pretty sure this is all tied to Kassyrra's redemption quest if memory serves.

Really? Not giving the alien freak more cultists is good enough for me. Too bad the game is shite and we can't do anything with the information we have and just act like nothing happened. I'd like to at least give them the middle finger, especially after refusing to build the temple. Fuck that creepy cat.
