Depends on how the content is. If it ends up being like literally everything else with "choices" in this game you're choosing between some content and no content.

Corruption gives you more edgy dialogue while also actively locking you out of some content.

When you've get the choice between pure or corrupting an area keep it pure for more content.
Keep unique corrupted characters alive.

In summary, corruption gives you almost fucking nothing and may lock you out of content.
So does slaying demons but I persist that nothing of value is lost.
