Wait, didn't the dickwad devs essentially nixed the idea of modding for fear of people fixing their trash writing? I thought they made the code needlessly complex to deter modders?you can already just open the files and change whatever you want
for example some of my biggest ask are transformations giving you combat skills, like gaining wings giving you access to flight as an on-will extra ability, but wouldn't call it a proper mod since I never bothered to complete it in the way that if you lose the wings you lose the ability lol, just a personal modification for an specific run
or some extra flavor text for backgrounds when I felt like "oh I would have liked it mentoned here", or benching/running on the hawkethrone gym giving permanent base strengh and agility (its as broken as you expect under this system, but its fun)
I personally don't have a problem with the content itself, and I'm not a writer and ESL as fuck, so would never add something big like dedicking ryn, or giving brienne a futa cock, I could make the code for it for someone else, but never gonna write an extended piece of text lol, I would like more maincharacterism(?) for the MC in scenes you get sidelined as fuck, but I'm not able to write anything on that without cringing at myself and dropping itregardless of already making extra buttons and variables that problerly track for it ready if I ever finished it lmao
If it is possible to mod Wich files should I open to edit weapons?

Did we as the PC touch his no no square or something? Almost every time I've seen this Tobs dude mentioned. It's in reference to some one sided crap he's putting the mc through. Like modern-day Hollywood levels of contempt for the fans. Except he gets the bonus ability to dedicate the whole thing into fucking with you. Like the PC is a stand-in for us. Let's make the order of operations a bit more clear.
The one mod that existed that had content, Drifa was added to the game nearly half a year before she ended up in CoC2 proper. The ability has always been there, nobody has cared to work on it and the short-lived modding scene died (partially as a result of not many people have the skillset necessary to work on it to begin with).
This isn't going to be a CoC1 situation where the writers already existed and so they just kept going after the game was... finished.
Nobody is waiting for a proper time. Nobody wants to "fix" the game at all.

No. The only thing they didn't do is make the game easily moddable because they didn't like that some mods existed. There's a difference between making additional tools to aid in modability and making a game more difficult to mod. The game IS moddable and had a mod.

Tobs is generally a long-winded writer to the point of parody and, speaking as someone who's tapped out on his material, he's kinda one of the reasons I don't bother with retrying the game. It's a slog.
And you wonder why some people give folks grief by calling them Savin dickriders and all. Abrasiveness isn't particularly great, y'all.
You can keep her at her default level of submission and just catch and the dynamics will be probably as you'd like it.

Because anyone else can just submit content to them, and so long as it is not shit or pedophilia they will add it to the game.

and they have specifically tried to program it to be harder to mod.
also, their real reason for hating mods is that mods for coc1 did things to their sacred cows they were unable to stomach. like turning the tables on their domme self insert or dedicking their futa self insert.

Bubs (small mercies of the universe this guy vanished) put a semi-official note on modding, and our infamous psychic vampire was agreeing with him. You can still mod the game as of now, if you didn't notice by that one user that has a massive hate boner for Wsan so they didn't really put anything to hamper modding efforts. The closest they've done is consider your save file corrupted if you use a save editor.

Yeah, the longer I stay here the more I'm starting to believe that people lack interest in modding CoC2 (or CoC2 in general), instead of Sav & Co. putting technical roadblocks in the code as the cause of the games' lack of mods.
Oh that is absolutely true, you have the absolute coding trashpile that is rack 2 but it still had someone passionate enough to make rack 2 reinvented that fixed/enhanced the base game.
Looking at the earlier poll the audience seems to have slowly changed into the usual monster girl game fanbase but with added cocks, the guys who like corruption and heavy modification fucked off early after years of no content for them and the fact that some writers straight up admitted that they dont like writing corruption content so theres not even a chance of that in the future.

Some games release all the stuff that they use in house to create content in order to make modding easier, like baldurs gate 3, so yes this partly on Savin & Co.
It's not necessarily lack of interest, but until there are tools and documentation to mod coc2 it's just not gonna happen. Renpy and daz are incredibly popular these days because of how easy it is to get started, having a low entry barrier is key to fanmade content.
Both drake's and bubbles' excuses are just so pathetic. Just fucking say we like control over the game and shut the fuck up lmao. All of them are amateur internet smut writers, no better than any rando on the internet. Hell, Fleep writes just as well as half the goddamn actual cast of the game.

Documentation and Tools would help a lot, but something that is a magnitude more important is the desire and interest to actually mod the game. There's a user here that mods the game sans modding tools out of sheer vitriol for all of Wsan's work.
