As much as I enjoy comical exaggerations, I don't think Tobs is a bad writer.

Really depends how low you're setting the bar at. At the very least, he is entirely an amateur writer without any significant accolades besides having written a sizeable word count for this game. He'd never get a book deal with a reputable publisher, I can at least tell you that much. Writing is about more than simply knowing all the grammar rules.

I can't speak for you but personally I couldn't care less about any of this. Thinking about whether my words might have some unintended benefit for him sounds like a very exhausting mindset to have.
