Off topic, it really does suck how pointless and forgotten Atugia is, mechanically she's one of the better companions, especially for how early can get her.
It's just, you're only really given one reason to even go up to where she is, and your reward is a character who content wise is even beaten by Berwyn.
Hope her eventual expansion improves the character.

Just go Inari Kinu. She is sweet, you get to work out with her doing every day chores and she dislikes Kiyoko. She is much easier to like, that is my point.

It does not help being reductive. First of all, Hime, the "slutty" one is not really that slutty. She is like her mother in that regard, she only uses her looks when she needs to get advantage. While yes, she wears her clothes liberarly, it is nothing weird compared for the rest of the game.

But on to my main point. While Inari relationship with her mother is a big part of her, she still has more to her than a lot of other characters in this game. She is strict yet carring sister to siblings, hard working and much more hornier then her Hime counterpart. She just does not present herself as such.

But in the end, me describing her to you really does not matter. I already did that many times before. You could just play that side of the content and form your own opinion on it. Not just take every ones word about it to form your own opinion on the subject. Play it for yourself. If it does not grab you, just stop playing.

Okay, I'm tired of this. Imora should not have been added if the cave of challenge or whatever the fuck it is wasn't ready along with her. Having characters be snarky about how you're actually incredibly weak to challenge the Mighty Boss™ when you've decimated half the fucking map is just stupid and ruins whatever immersion the game has.

But then again, it's SKoW. He is one of the worst writers, along with the Bubble guy. I'd rate these two as worse than Tobs, because Tobs actually has writing ability, it's just that his direction of writing (and weebness) is incredibly moronic, but Skow and bubblelord straight up have 0 talent.

Edit: I can't believe I bothered to read through his lore-dump about the shark-women, and the whole alpha-beta thing just feels like cringe. It's an interesting sex mechanic, but his attempt at making an entire species and world around it is just lmao.

it's a random encounter, and not a very interesting one right now, in the future i think you'll meet her alpha and become her alpha/beta, but right now she only has a few talk scenes, 2 sex scenes, and a shop that sells the clothes sharks drop

All I know about Kinu is what's on the wiki and what I've been able to glean from here and the forums, so sorry if I'm being "reductive" but that's unavoidable.

I know this forum vehemently hates Cait, so I don't know nobody has mentioned the Thanks4Cait talk option. Sure it requires you being interested enough to talk to her dad, who for reasons can only be spoken to through her. But it's still monstrously self-indulgent.
I know it's a joke because you can only say it once and it's brief, and I know most writers have an "accept or don't buy it" attitude with their characters. But you're never given an option to insult her or any other character, why should I be interested in praising them.
I know that Cait's "the favorite" for the lead developer of game, but between this and the game trying it's damndest to force you to like her, this blatant favoritism is getting a bit out of hand.

Especially since every companion has a potential for corrupt content down the line, which I assume are more selfish/evil routes you can take with the character.
And I do not really see how that is the bigger problem than lets say when you fuck Brint/Brienne game assumes that you are interested in them romantically. Or Kiyoko. Oh Etheryns whole confidence gauge where if you show her certain amount of affection, game automatically assumes that you care for her romantically. So your entire expirience is jugeling her gauge so that you do not turn her in romantic lovebird if you do not want entierly dick to her.
The only 3 companions that I feel that do not follow that precident are Arona, Berwyn and Quintilus. I would have said Cait up until recently, but as you said, our champion does feel like that they are on Brink of expressing their love.

I think the thread mostly hovers between ambivalence and disgust when it comes to Cait. Outright hatred is mostly reserved for the kitsune, especially Kinu.
I didn't know that there was a "Thanks4Cait" option as I haven't cared enough to interact with her dad, but that's not surprising. The game is predicated on you helping her, after all, so you're assumed to care about her from the word "go".

I think Cait is fine, she is the first NPC we really get to interact with and is the catalyst for the entire story so it makes sense that she would have a lot of content (now and in the future). The real problem with this game is a lack of direction and a drip feed of content, being fed to us through a crushed straw...

This is gonna get long so buckle up; there's unfinished content all over the place, from characters to zones. We've had barely any interactions with the Baroness even though she is technically an important NPC in this part of the game world. The only thing we know about her is that she is in the middle of a three way (cold) war between herself, Komari, and Evergreen and is a vampire, that's it. Atugia was her bodyguard and now she's our companion, and that's where her lore ends (lol). The Centaur village is still largely unfinished (despite some small content updates), the Winter City still doesn't have a shop or tavern (or anything really), the Minotaur City has a gate that's been locked for over a year, the list goes on and on...
There is as much Kitsune content as everything else in the game, and I question the point of having a daughter character that you can influence but will never be sexable (is that a word? w/e), I don't have any interest in incest content but why have her in the game to begin with if there will never be any sexy-time with her??? This is a porn game right???
I also noticed that the game has a corruption meter for every companion but it doesn't seem to do anything, and the corruption meter of the MC also seems to be meaningless... it might be time to stop calling this game "Corruption of Champions" and instead call it "Kitsune of Champions".

That being said I really like this game (I bought a copy on Steam) but it's been almost 10 months since the Steam release and the story has barely moved, there is still a lot of unfinished content and very little new content. I just don't get it, are the dev's just lazy or incompetent? Not trying to be dick with this question, I just wanna understand wtf happened... oh well...

It's weird, I know they said time and time again you shouldn't compare this game to the first one in terms of direction, but it's awkward when you think of cases like Amily who you could get with, but if you're only with her for the sex and never bother talking to her, surprise surprise she's not into you when all is said and done.
The dynamic relationship score from the first one may have been tedious, but it did really help you get engaged with certain characters, because you felt progress was getting made.
It does become jarring when companions like Brint and Cait, who the game overtly admits have flings, become lovestruck with you after only doing it once. At least with Etheryn, she's so traumatized that it does make sense that she clings to the first person who was nice to her.

The content drip is because of Mayternity, it's a special time full of pregnancy content, so maybe that's when this drought will done. The lackluster focus on content is to avoid to burnout, which is obviously mismanagement, but I'd rather have them dedicated to any expansions rather than have them be unmotivated when writing it. Hopefully Minotaur isn't as much of a letdown as Winter City, they confirmed a colosseum so that's a step in the right direction.
The Kitsune is all Tobs, love him or hate him, you have to admit he's dedicated and that's at the very least admirable. And for the journal entries you should take them with a grain of salt, because if we go by the numbers the rapist Arona and the ex-cultist Quin are apparently as pure as Etheryn. And Brint of of all people is as skinny Quin, Berwyn, Atugia and Etheryn. Also the bee companion doesn't have a butt. Clearly the character tab wasn't a big priority for them.

Trying to explain a content drought with "the next month will be better bro" is not really an excuse though. You might as well not take any money from your supporters for the entirety of April if every year April is gonna be shit just to make May good. No other month of the year is like this. That's just bad planning.

I appreciate your measured response but these dev's have had almost a year to remedy the content drought, and it hasn't gotten any better... on their Patreon they are making over $27,000 a month, and this is the best they can do? For shame. Can anyone say that these monthly updates are worth $27,000? Absolutely not.
Your post makes it seems like they are planning a large expansion in the future, and these monthly updates are just something to tide people over until then, if that's true then I would understand but they haven't communicated that as far as I can see.
Lastly if the journal and character info in the game is not reliable/accurate then why does it exist? There's no point in having content that is unfinished or doesn't work as expected, its just a waste of dev time...

Also, I don't know who this Tobs guy is but I'm not a fan of their Kitsune agenda lol...

I am still waiting for new Kasyrra+corruption things or a big main story update! CMON I think its about a year now without main story content... I just want to corrupt my party into demons (without being a bad end!)
