Well, I have some good news and some real bad news. First off, there has been maybe 1 - 2 mods for coc2 so far. Tons of people over there, and all doing nothing. So far as I can tell, all we have for KINU mod, is a couple of pages of written up drafts, and that is it. I believe we have a better chance, of Savin becoming an Amazing writer, and making coc2 into the game we all hoped we would get before KINU mod is even done. Not that it couldn't happen, but what was the point of getting everyone together and etc, if nothing is going to happen on the mods? I could be wrong. I wasn't there when coc1 mod was started.

So prepare yourselves for disappointment, if you were counting on coc2 mod to fix all the crap. Either they are scared of getting into trouble over copyright, which shouldn't be a problem since all they had to do is go the Mod or Parody route. Never know. Until the fire is lit under their asses, it is pretty much dead before it began, except the 2 mods that have been done.
yeah it's not like the modders have a life outside of modding or that Savin and Co. actively work against modding... Oh Wait!

Is it so bad to just want the plot to continue? I would like more interactions with Kasyrra and move on from Minotaur land.
Calise quest 2 was only a few patches ago. Blame Mayternity for holding everything up.

Every time I see a new bovine character all I hear is "I want to get off Mr. Bones' Wild Ride." And I love cow-morphs, udders, etc. But variety is the spice of life. Gimme some nagas, bunnies, something different. Hopefully this is the end of cow people considering they got their home turf
Not too fond of cows either, but KM has had some decent variety.

I know theres gonna be a Salamander bar coming up, the the whorehouse in the slums probably has some variety.

Is it physically impossible for them to finish one thing before they start another? They started working on Khor'minos and the main quest there, and then completely shifted focus, leaving a lot of content there half-finished, and are now working on a sidequest for Etheryn, and an entire new plotline about Corrupted Lupines that seems to have come out of nowhere.

Different authors.

KM is Wsan, Savin is Ryn, and Corrupted Lupines and Drifa is Jstar.

Plus, they've said that they're deliberately trying no to focus everyone on KM at once so people who don't like Mootown get something too, kinda like the guy who just posted 5 or 6 posts above you.

0.5.0 Patch Notes, Part 1: Combat Changes

  • RESOLVE has been removed from the game. Any power or effect that would increase or decrease Resolve now applies to Health. Health is now calculated as follows: 100 + (25 * level) + (toughness * 5) + (presence * 2) + any additional modifiers.
  • Oil of Oliban has been removed, and a commensurate number of Vulneraries have been added to your inventory if any were present.
  • Threat is no longer random. The character with the highest Threat level in your party will now always have priority.
  • At-Will Stances automatically activate as soon as combat starts, without using up your turn.
  • Companions now have the same XP as the Champion. No more needing to take your friends out grinding to keep them leveled; they just share your level at all times.
  • Blue-balled is now a 20% debuff to Focus and Mental Resistance.
  • Champion’s Resolve is now +20 Health.
  • Base Tease damage has been increased, now that it’s targeting the overall Health pool.
  • Arona’s Take Her Pleasure scene now procs based on how long it’s been since her last orgasm, rather than her Resolve levels.
  • Berserker Arona replaced Warcry with Kiaijutsu; Spirit Totem Arona replaced it with Steady Strike. Her Nightfang has +10 Spellpower now instead of +10 CritChance.
  • Kiyoko’s Slip of the Mind perk is now +20% Health instead of +35% Resolve.
  • Brienne now shares the same elemental vulnerabilities as Brint.
  • Etheryn’s Outrider set has been revamped.
  • Etheryn’s Chastity perk gives her some vulnerability to Tease and Pheromone damage.
  • Hornet High now grants +10 Max Health; Venom Craving imposes -20 Health but grants +10% to Tease damage dealt.
  • Bleeding now properly cuts healing in half.
  • Healing’s scaling with Spellpower and Critical power has been cut in half.
  • The Lureling no longer buffs your Companions if he steals them.
  • Only one of the two Jotuns in the Rift gets an extra action per round.
  • Reduced the number of Hobgoblin reinforcements that spawn by 2.
  • Silenced and Disarmed durations are no longer additive if they’re applied multiple times.
  • Trying to stun/prone someone who’s immune doesn’t interrupt their stances anymore.
  • MANY powers have been updated for balance purposes due to the Resolve cut.
0.5.0 Patch Notes, Part 2: Narrative Changes

  • Dog Days has been moved up to a main story quest; you can no longer enter the Alraune’s garden without getting the loggers from the camp to help cut a hole through a great wall of briars sealing off the Alraune’s inner garden.
  • To compensate, Hethia now has new sex scenes in Dog Days (unless you lose to her in combat, then you get no bitches).
  • Many Etheryn interactions throughout the early game have been revised, including her initial meeting, her first interactions at camp or the Frost Hound, and her reactions to seeing Alissa in the Winter City speech event; mostly this is to make her narrative a little more coherent if you DON’T interact with her a lot before the Winter City dungeon.
  • The Winter City’s actual boer’alvarin name, Njorhaalt, is now sprinkled throughout Etheryn’s content. I got fed up enough with using “The Winter City” in her new quest I’m working on that I decided to give it a real name :V
  • Dreams are now a modal you can turn on/off entirely — well, mostly. Dreams tagged as being actually important will go through regardless, but the at this point overwhelming bevy of fun/random/lewd dreams are all able to be turned off from the options menu.
  • Jael’yn’s lethicite is now a topic of discussion with the Alraune and Farrah, if you sent her to the Wayfort.
  • When you bring Cait to Lady Evergreen, you can now rebuke Evergreen’s offer entirely and go to find Barney yourself without her pointing the way.
  • Cait’s Dancer set is now acquired immediately after the tutorial; just talk to her about her other talents!
  • Brint has an all-new set (also applies to Brienne) he starts with right off.
  • If you turn Brint into Brienne while Elthara is pregnant with Brint’s child, there’s a new scene between them.
  • If you gave the Harem Cats coin to help them get home, you’ll eventually get a letter from Calill saying they made it home safe and sound.
  • Garth has a new talk supporting both the Dog Days changes, and introducing the Corrupted Lupine plotline after they become a thing (which also leads into an upcoming character, Drifa).
Also New Content Just Because We Love You:

  • Evelyn has a new scene for Champ’s with dicks of 4″ or smaller, and who have done the [Obey] option in her pitch anal scene.

WAIT WHAT, So you tell me the thing I actually looked forward to this year, they said they would be working on. Now you tell me they actively avoid focusing on completing the part they said they at the start of the year. Other than MOOTOWN what else new is there; that fucking WinterLand isn't getting updated, so basically you can hook people with completing a whole new region, but instead you give us random itty bitty things.

Thats...not what I said. Wsan is writing the bulk of it and that takes time. The rest of the team fills in other places too while that's happening so we get variety, because not everyone likes the same stuff.

And what else new is there...well, the changelog has some pretty big projects.

KM is great...but KM is also slated to take like a year and a half of dev time. People are already complaining that this game is taking forever (somehow)
Part of me wonders what the devs can even handle this issue. Just focus on the main storyline? That would cause a bunch of underdeveloped areas that would take years to fill. Delay the updates so that they are bigger in-size (like, 1 update per month) so that it feels like they are achieving more with every update?

That is a terrible change.
Disagree, part of the reason I haven't gotten very far is how annoying I find it to need to catch up new/not used often characters. Now I might actually get somewhere near the latest content.

Can you give me like, a single reason as to why? It feels like a part of the rather outdated traditional JRPG formula, where after getting a new party member you spend an hour grinding weaker mobs so that they can at least somewhat be used in combat. I don't think there is a single benefit to having them leveled individually, unless leveling worked like a bond-system and unlocked new scenes or some shit. I don't think CoC2 has anything like that, so that's not even an issue.
Another reason if maybe some companions were higher level than the player and could carry your ass if you've unlocked them early in the game and they outlevel you, just for the benefit of roleplaying as a weak beta MC that needs strong dommy mommy to defeat enemies because you can't do that yourself, but I don't think that's also ever a case in CoC2.

Clearly you're not of the proper mindset. Around here, anything and everything the devs of this game do (or do not do) is bad, a priori. Therefore, this change is bad. It's simple logic, you see.

Nothing. There is no fixable issue People always wants something else.

Just in the last couple of pages, we have people wondering why they aren't focusing on KM, people who want more stuff outside of KM, people who want the main story, people who couldn't care less about the main story and want more Brinthaus...people waiting for Berwyn, etc.

Nothing that could be put out wouldn't make someone unhappy it wasn't something else.

In that case, my personal conclusion, which might sound a bit rude, but well... maybe people should touch some grass. I mean, CoC2 is free. Unless you want every piece of new content ASAP, you really don't have to pay for it. The fact that those people actually care enough to get angry at the game should mean that it actually does it's job of providing entertainment and Fap Material.

Hot Take, but I feel like it would be great if some people would chill when CoC2 doesn't cater to their exact preferences. No game ever will. This is a free piece of entertainment that sometimes gives you some well-writen sex scenes and it doesn't take anything from you but your time. Sometimes it's ain't exactly well balanced (flashbacks to me encountering a dungeon hoping to get some cool sex scenes and only ending up with a fucking Kitsune Boss Rush that made me actually turn game to manual combat because of the mechanics).

Just tune in from time to time, play for a lil-bit and see if there is anything you fancy or are interested in and if not find something else. It's (probably) that easy.
