Eviscerate is "okay". With good weapons it's practically a button you can press to insta kill a target. Then again, so does sensual sway or w/e it's called and that's a 2 turn recharge. Anyways, with non good weapons it sucks.I am bored and got a random gameplay question: Is Eviscerate good on a Thief?
Haven't really played as a Thief in a long-ass time since their damage depends on the enemy having a debuff (which IMO is situational and sucks as balls)
But I was wondering if the level 7 ability that lets your debuffs last twice as long, combined with the Kunai to proc bleed on a hit & Eviscerate to attack a shitload of times would be good?
The bleed from kunai (and in general) doesn't stack. At the end of those 6 hits of eviscerate you'd have done 6 extremely weak hits and applied the bleed. The 50 evasion is not bad, hypothetically. But evasion, much like practically every stat, is borderline worthless unless stacked to very high amounts. And the amount necessary to perma dodge most physical encounters needs to be active for longer than 1 tun and requires sky high physical and mental resistances to not get dunked by spells or attacks that bypass evasion as well.
Secondly, negative status effect conditional is exceptionally easy if you get Hana's ring (and you might as well console it in given it's one of the single best items in the game) and is still easy even without it. If you're not using your thief you can open fights with Deadly Shadow. Staggered and Terrified for 3 turns on every enemy. Your recharges are whatever you want.
