It’s not really obvious at all when he’s very pointedly trying to push the narrative that the character is gone from the game when you tell her to fuck off (which is a lie).
It's obvious to literally everybody but you, dude. Just stop.

On the wayfort: For real though, the wayfort is a complete mess. It's just this weird mix of characters that they just throw in there with absolutely no relation to one another. It's just really jarring seeing these completely different NPCs with nothing in common share the same space with each other.

Really? I’m not aware of their ever implementing that “magical dildo” feature they once mentioned that would allow female PCs to impregnate Kiyoko; so to get Kinu, a female PC would still need to temporarily grow a cock, right?
Had to double check
Word of God from the man himself

If you get the ghostlight piercing from (I think there's two sources and one is evergreen), you can knock up Kiyoko.

I'm fine with the wayfort as a concept in the same way that I really liked expanding a base with many different characters in Suikoden. Mind you I'm not comparing something as expansive and fun to engage in as that to something like this. I'm just stating that the concept works even with NPCs that diverse in temperament and function.

For starters, large amounts of the wayfort are dominated by Daliza random events, bee x plant, plant x guard interactions.
These becomes very annoying very quickly given the little variance. This is to the point that the best place to skip days in the game is in the fox den with an unfucked femKeros. As at least you won't have your rest or steps taken over by events you can't stop.

It's also a bit of a wasted vehicle inside the porn space to begin with:
  • Your own base of operations to which you'll assumedly be housing an ever expanding cast of characters and very few companions (no companions now that I think on it) take advantage of that fact.
  • It's exceptionally small given the function it's meant to serve. (limiting the random Daliza events to the proximity of around where the Caravan/Alraune are would go a long way to making the place more pleasurable to be)
  • Be warming options that are far smaller than they should be.

And for me personally it's missing that small bit of flare on top of these things. No unique flavorful effects for fully upgrading it. No special items linked to it's development. Only a single special vendor. I guess the summoning circle counts but those scenes are some real mercenary work if you catch my drift.

It being a mess is sort of a charm point for me, it feels like a legit town with all kinds of people now. The only ones that probably straight up don't fit the tone are Behemoth and the gambling demons. Behemoth since he's just mindless and could easily hurt someone (it's the reason the centaurs want to get rid of him if you spare him). The gambling demons since they don't have an obsession that can be worked around like Farrah. They just want fun. Fun that can easily be turned on innocent people.

In retrospect, Farrah probably should be gotten rid of now that we got the wandering caravan, too.

Agreed that the wayfort lacks so much variety and connecting content, but the silver lining is that the game is in active development, so there is a big chance more systems and support will get implemented into it. Might just not be the main focus/priority for the staff and writers at the moment. That or someone ponies up the cash to commission a writer, or becomes a community writer. Regardless, fingers crossed we get more stuff for it.

It was originally supposed to be the Corrupt Champ's equivalent to Hawkethorn (Or somewhere else, can't remember), but was eventually mashed into all champs. That's why the first residents were demons like Farrah, why a completely corrupted Jae'lyn goes there, etc. Unfortunate it worked out the way it did imo, but it's not like the Wayfort would feel as lived in as it does if it was Corrupt Champ exclusive so I guess it's a net positive?

I like when things work out. I had just enough health to tank a Lunge from Kas under Mirror stance. I had Cait revive me in time to eat a Dragon Breath. Walked away with both moves learned.

The roaming event is not part of the plot. It's a random encounter, nothing like the expansions she now has. Comparing the two should make it obvious what he meant. You're being far too literal and obtuse about this.
Damn, you’re right, I should’ve just read into the comment and assumed he said something entirely different that actually made sense. How silly of me to actually read and respond to what he said. I mean, if he’s saying something negative about CoC2 then it must be right, even if he has to make it up.

You got it. You obfuscating what his point was is just you trying to gain a gotcha over a technicality. A weak one at that.

Poor dragon, gonna just stay there and die because you're too stupid to let Ryn get another item that'll boost another stat. Or maybe Cait.

What is up with them making all the portraits for your kids post Kinu black, all of their mothers are white.
Short Answer: Don't think about it too hard.

Sorry I had more of a post planned here but the IQ flowed out of my ears.

How would a spear even tell if you're royalty? Azzyran is no more qualified to eventually take her own hive than the rest of the hive knights. MC can be a noble in his background, does that mean that you could have deboned the dragon?
Technically Kiyoko should be able to heft the spear too and I don't think anybody is more in control of themselves than a kitsune.
Would Etheryn have even worked? Would the spear just refuse to budge until you finish WC and additionally Dracia so Ryn is finally Queen? (obviously you can't do that order since it's behind WC, but you get the point of this hypothetical)

Does just a drop of noble blood qualify you? How would the spear even know?
It's not like your defacto royalty is imprinted on your soul.

They clearly didn't think much about that. Allowing ourselves to be imbued with the power of a dragon if we have a certain background could have been such a cool idea. But alas it's probably never gonna happen because power fantasy for players is a big no no.

It probably has medieval Denuvo installed on it. Or the spear had someone downloaded into it. Like how Ashe uploads herself into the horny bat. Perhaps it's a dragon. Then you got a dragon inside the spear that's inside the other dragon. Layers after layers of dragon.

Agni's scene with Zhara's first daughter finally made me see her as a character. It was a nice scene that played off her immortalness. Too bad there's a chance you don't get that scene.
