There's bad, and there's BAD. There's a lot to complain about here, a lot of poor writing, but nowhere near the desecration of a previously decent story out of culturally brainrotted spite towards normal humans. Similar notes at times from some of the authors but the scale is hiroshima compared to a hand grenade.

yep this game is bad but its not "lets completely shit on and destroy an entire legacy we built up over an actual decade" bad. CoC2 is just overall a crappyish porn game with somtimes decent lore/porn.

Damn I wish this game let the champion have agency, but after the Kinu shit I just really dislike everything thats not Brienne related for the most part, and I'm still nervous they'll try and ruin that too

Honestly, I never went through with the wedding in the Kitsune ark, precisely because of how badly it takes away your agency as the player, and writes the player character voice for you. Like, mf'ers, as her FATHER, we should be trying to offer other options as diplomatic marriage to the local area to expand the family's influence outside just the village, if we're resigned to our daughter being used like a political pawn like this. And that's on top of the fact that the story just decides that, after 30 pregnancies of time basically not moving, bam, a decade of you just up and walking out on your entire family happens without you getting a say, even though for you, it was probably a tough 24 hours of being a wrecking crew wading into the kitsune village.
Berwyn's quest was the last update I actually liked, and that's just because we could give them big ol' tiddies. Everything since has been an ignorable slog. After what, six, seven years in development, its no wonder this game is starting to fall in on itself with how slow its moving forward. Even for better writers, is hard to maintain artistic cohesion in a project that long. Like... the content you wrote for the opening no longer works for the story you're telling, and the stuff between the two is not actually a good or natural bridge between, despite being made during the time between and is the embodiment of your change in style.
They need to let the project die and reboot with something that's more honest about what it is. Maybe this time they can write actual characters they fully understand they are handing off the the player to let what will happen, happen. Not more OCs they simp for and coddle to keep the kinks they don't like from happening to, or forcing the player to be a super sub to interact with.

The fact that the CHAMPION is just brushed off and Kiyoko expects you to just be okay with that pisses me off. Like she turns your daughter against you and then also potentially marries her off to a complete asshole? I know my Champion would absolutely transform all the men in the kitsune village into women just to spite Kiyoko for trying to undermine her authority and then take Kinu to the Frost hound and tell Kiyoko to learn her place or fuck off.
Not only that but Savin explained why Jae for example won't get de-dicked because they'd have to rewrite scenes.... NO SHIT, this an RPG with heavy transformation themes, there should be more scenes and you should be able to de-dick characters like Arona and Bedick other characters, there SHOULD be a loyalty route for Cait, there SHOULD be a way to completely avoid all potential NTR or cheating and just have the Harem of a champion.
But be it laziness or an inability to admit they are writing a kinetic sandbox for themeselves whose to say.

They are VERY anti mod so i would be geniunly suprised if they did so.But again whenever either this or TiTs end i can hope(cope) that people will gather to mod the fuck out of it.

I'm fine with the other characters getting it on with eachother or the others I choose to screw around with, and hell, I understand that Cait's a whore. But yeah, the "Now stand there and watch" isn't even hot voyeurism to willing exhibitionists, its just badly done cuck shit.

Dunno about other people but i went with both routes for an "experience" and after that i can tell you with absolute confidence that it both routes are terrible with very little difference.
