Step 4 & 5 to be "OP" in this game:

Honestly, the only thing stopping me from playing as a charmer (besides as a pure buffer) is the gear you have to wear.
In that case you can always pick a Black Mage, they are pretty much the second best choice ever since the Lust Elemental (aka: pocket Charmer) was added as a summon, basically you do a role-reversal in which you take care of Golems/can hit everything and your Summon teases into submission everything else.

I mean, there are some stuff you can wear that's pretty cool if you don't want to be slutty. I believe the leather coat, leather boots, and silk shirt boost sexiness, so you can go the dashing rogue/bard angle. It'll be weaker than minmax'd charmer gear but sometimes you gotta sacrifice function for fashion.

I wonder if we'll get some cool "mage-hunter" powers out of it, we're most likely gonna end up being black-scaled Salamanders like Tollus' Bodyguard or the Astrida chick we end up helping (minus the gray dead skin that is)
