Tbh, Brint doesn't really annoy me; I just find it fucking beyond backwards to focus on cuck-lite content when you commission art, even if I understand you can't picture the MC. I honestly don't know if Brint is a bro because the Brienne transformation leads to pregnancy, lactation and is the only legitimate transformation in the fucking game so I've never really used him at all; he literally can't be better than Brienne and you can only choose one sooooo
Like the literal fucking point of these companions should be that we can shift and transform them, then preggo them and so on and thus far they've been incredibly fucking weak. Turboslut irritates me on a personal level, Brint is just too inferior to Brienne for me to use them, the wolf dude or whatever just reminds me of his sister being better, there's some dumb fucking fox big dick trap that you can't de-dick because the author of the char is a trash tier sub-mongloid and doesn't understand you write for the audience and uhhh, now there's really headless celtic stereotype (which thank fuck doesn't start speaking gaelic like the incredibly cringe Icelandic speaker in TITS)
That leaves my sissy, my waifu and my dick waifu as actual good NPCS. To be honest I'd rather have Lusamine than any of those other losers

To be blunt, your tastes appear to be way too "straight male" for this game. I'm not saying this to be disparaging, it's just that these games have always attracted a substantial amount of female, bi and/or gay players so it's absolutely not surprising the devs would remember to cater to them from time to time.
Point taken on Brienne though: the lack of worthwhile TFs has been a point of criticism for a while and it's a legitimate one imo.

But Savin's post here makes very little sense. He also says stuff like "This and this are done, just waiting on it being coded in" very often, only to wait for months on end for shit to actually be added.
He's making some pretty big concessions for a straight male. Jokes aside, I think you should tone down the inflammatory language, Malcowitz. If you want to be taken seriously, at least. Nothing wrong with talking shit and ranting but if all you spew is bile it gets a bit redundant.
I can see why you wouldn't like not being able to transform or do much in total with many of the companions of the game. I can also see why you'd be pissed at characters getting scenes with other characters when you might feel possessive over them, seeing as the game is essentially a harem simulator for a lot of people (me included).
But at the same time, you can just do what most anyone else does and ignore the voyeur content. It's what I do. I don't care at all for any scene that doesn't have the protagonist. Most of the time, the game allows you to reject these scenes. These scenes are for a niché among nichés, but this game is niché to begin with and thus a lot of the patrons probably like them. Can't really do much about that fact.
And meh, who cares about the commissioned art.

As far as I can tell there are definitely 4 coders on the dev team. But I'm inclined to believe there are a bit more than that.
But in any case, the amount of coders on the team doesn't really matter; they have a bug report thread for a reason, and according to Savin, they have more than enough time as well. Just seems to be the case of not really wanting to go through all the issues, then the issues pile up leading in even less incentive to try and address them.
So basically, unless the bug is completely game breaking it doesn't seem like it's a priority at all - which is why it seems to be a completely asinine endeavor to actually report bugs on the forums, seeing as it's liable to not result in anything (aside being potentially gaslit and / or being subjected to scorn).

Definitely agree that fixing v. implementing are two different difficulty / time factors. What I was referring to was more about the response and communication aspect. Ren'py coders like with What-A-Legend for example are pretty down to earth and communicate well with questions and bugs. The dev(s) for Karyyn's Prison are also pretty upfront and haven't seen a whole lot of issues between people reporting bugs and the dev blatantly ignoring bug reports.
Gives the impression they actually care and it helps build rapport. CoC2 on the other hand seem a lot more condescending and when that occurs it's easier for a dev to basically gloss over a bug that might be small now, but a hassle later on.
I struggle to understand why Quint exists; unlike Brint he's exclusively a top, he's not interesting, his character design isn't great and you can't really do much with him that changes things up. Meanwhile Brint is an absolute bro (and can be made into a woman) and Berwyn is much more interestingly written and there's clearly an idea of what they're going to do with him.
Meanwhile Quint is going to get a girlfriend and you can't fuck him because fuck you. Plus rabbit people are kinda overdone in furry porn, at least the character in the foothills is a shredded babe that you can hatefuck and impregnate. Would have much preferred her as a companion.

Android loading screen freeze/crash is back. The old uninstall chrome update doesn't fix it anymore. And the dev didn't even implement a fix since the 0.3.34 update. I'll just get a new phone and see which one comes first. The bugfix or the phone. That post about more coders than writers is simply amazing given this bug is present since February when the first report was made. 5 same bug report later LOL.

He supposed to be the median between all the males, he's not as girly as Berwyn, but he's not as hunky as Brint. (If Berwyn's writer didn't quit) He's not as confrontational as Berry, but he's not as chill as Brint. Compared to those other two, he's not hyper (the Brint CG with Atugia really showed me why people hate hyper that just looked silly). Bubblelord refused make Quin a switch though, as Takahiro showcases his masculine male characters don't bottom.
The problem is his personality is a dime a dozen, he's horny, which is everyone, he's flirty, which are Brint and high-con Etheryn, he's confrontational, but dialogue trees don't exist in this game and so are dom-Arona and Berwyn.
Bubbleord was clearly trying to go for a Zevran-like character, but as I said before, your huffing paint if you believe these writers are as good as old bioware. Maybe his expac will improve him and show off the Zevran he was supposed to be, they only have two scenes, but he tries to be charming with Rune.

Was there talk of what type of content/consequences you get if you don't build Cait's temple? Like you build the temple okay, you get all these npcs and side stories. If you don't build it, does that take you down a different path or is it just the "skip this content" button?
Please don't tell me someone has unironically compared CoC2 writers to the likes of David Gaider. We're reaching levels of delusion unseen before.
Willing to bet money on the latter being the case. They seem to love the ''if you don't like this content, you get to excise it from your game but don't expect anything in return'' policy.

Comparing Quint to Zevran is pretty acute, Bubblelord was clearly going for the "loveable rogue" archetype with him. And just like with Raphael in orig CoC it's a spectacular failure. Making such a character likeable isn't as easy as it looks.
