Honestly I see people complain about the NTR content in this game all the time but whenever I play it I barely ever see any content that doesn't involve the player. There's a decent amount of 3p or group scenes but barely anything that happens without the player's direct involvement.
On Cait, primary issue is they've wrote her very whiplash-y. When you start her interactions, shes not interested in a monogamous relationship, so no ntr (partner being stolen), just kind of accepting it's her actual religion to quite literally belongs to the streets. As her content's progressed though, they're really pushing her as a love interest/ ending option. Silly as the butt stuff is, you have a character that was saving an experience their life for someone special and can pick mc, story bonding moments like holding her when trying to rescue her sister, the options to thank her father for having her, the lovey scenes pre/post temple, her talking about how great the MC is and how eventually she'd like to remove her seal and have a kid with them.
tldr version: Not true NTR, but mental retardation.

For NTR specifically, you'll see games made where they attempt to appeal to people who are antagonistic towards the genre as well as fans of the genre and they use every excuse under the sun: Mind control, addictive cum, possession, enchanted dick, weird curses, dream manipulation, and whatever else you can think of including "it's optional". It very seldom works.
Occasionally you'll get that individual with a patreon/itch-io and a dream thinking they'll be the one to bend boundaries or introduce people to 'their world'. "If'n I just show that the emotional connection is stronger than the physical one...!". It rarely works.
Some savants really truly can get people in the door of their 'wide-appeal' game. I can think of quite a few games that, while not having changed my enjoyability of various fetishes in general, are certainly written well enough that I can enjoy them in my own way regardless of anything else included in the project. I played one not that long ago where the main goal was the kind of degradation of a character to a degree I'm really not a fan of but has the ability to wrap to an end where everybody gets what they want in a way that I was ultimately satisfied with.
More often however, I end up getting hit with second-hand pain when I see the developers who show up on this site exasperated about that NTR tag overpowering literally everything they do regardless of how little they add or how much they revise. Them's the breaks. Don't play with fire, etc.
Though I guess that's more of a case of "don't visit f95 threads for your game if your game isn't community driven". About the best thing to say about the team of this game is that they don't visit this website. I can be as candid as I want without frizzling some artists feelings.
