I can't speak for everyone here but I do know a lot of people love the wholesome aspect of it like you said but for me I can enjoy it more for the reasons stated above but won't say no to any wholesome scenes either. At least I get why you aren't too fond of pregnancy as you want to focus more on the sex scenes which I can respect. Also there are loads of characters you can have kids with that you can't interact with so I think people would prefer pregnancy with zero interaction over no pregnancy at all.

Well you're more then welcome to speak for me. Just like with anime, I haven't consume product enough for me to be tired of basic/vanilla. I mean sure we can just play bastard simulator. Pump out so many kids that our genes might be the next starting point for all evolution. They haven't discovered child support so why not make the most of it? Hell make a real mark upon the world and be the reason they invent it! But I am all for the wholesome.

I absolutely like the fact that you can apparently spend time with kids/family. Instead of just getting generic off-screen offspring #301 every time. Wish it went into more depth and honesty surprised it didn't. With all the freaky deaky ass people with this game. Would've thunk someone would've had a more wholesome dad kink, but alas. Whole family set up in this game, is exactly why I like spending time with other people's kids..... wait, WAIT! let me explain! Being there for all the good times while avoid the crappier side of parenthood is what I meant! Me and their parents can be there for the good times. Think there's this one Japanese porn game where they also have a character named Kinu that has some similar beats to Tobs' one. Of course if there's any correlation, that's probably because the writer himself (or a fan) backed that project but someone thought he was writing with them.

Honestly changing the quest to be that the mc is asked to deliver the bag to the Kitsune. Later we find out Evergreen had us smuggle a magical nuke inside the Den would solve everything. If you want Kinu and her mom freed make it so that Evergreen knows of a way but she needs help from other mages. Of course Rindo was with Kohaku on a trade run so they were spared.

The way I see it, I'd give the PC three options following the knowledge that's a magical nuke.

• Somehow deactivate it, piss off Evergreen (optional) and keep their village going as is
• Inform them that it has a nuke, some of them die (the drunkard) and you can then invite some (that one-note mechanic that you help out, Kohaku the non-Gaming Maid, Rindo) to the Wayfort and the ones less inclined to team up (Nakano) reform somewhere else (so that the player can still access the deity that was there, IIRC) or literally get removed from the game
• Let it die, maybe make it so you can recruit the few survivors left into the Wayfort

You'd make the kitsune far more humble now that they don't have their little tree and then maybe have a way around the forced aging of Kinu with some other magic characters weighting in or something.

Fire Emblem games tend to be fairly localized, so it's not that surprising they'd change a name.

Especially when the only connection you're basing it off is both games having a foxgirl named Kinu. Let me remind you that Tobs didn't have any original or creative reason for naming her Kinu, he just based her off a foxgirl with the same name from a Fire Emblem game. Whoever is the writer for that jrpg studio did a similar thing. Unless you have better evidence than "Look, Kinu!", you should lay off the copium tank.

If he got involved with the game through a kickstarter backer tier, at best he'll have a direct line of communication with the dev that's implementing whatever he's requested, but that's all it could possibly be. He's not the one writing for the character, at best they might make changes based on his feedback of what's already there. Any kickstarter I've seen that's included backer tiers that get in-game characters or items are pretty explicit about that sort of stuff. Plus I've seen zero evidence of Tobs knowing japanese beyond basic stuff weebs know.

That just seems a wee bit weird to me. Like I get it, you love your characters but.... bruh. Mans trying to kickstart the Tobsverse. But hey, I don't have an OC of my own. So I imagine something like this must be a nice feeling. Granted it also opens it up to be lewded like hell if it picks up. And he doesn't seem like he would be a fan of the full brunt of what the internet would have instore.

Hell I'm living proof of power being in the wrong hands. Because lord knows if I had kept up with my artistry and moved into animation. The pure amount of fuckery I would engage in would be legendary, within reason of course. I'm not a complete uncaring asshole. But the internet has so much drama and with the right skills and petty... there's great chaos to be weaved.

ah... oh right I was trying to handle 1 flag to make it theoretically possible to just "copy paste" between versions. ... Nuke could theretically be possible If I can remember how to make/detach tiles from the map. And for freeing kinu and such... Maybe I could somehow set it up to where you need to give some kind of information (via a flag) to the Chapel of Velun (for the sake of my own sanity I dont feel like handling items because that usually requires art assets).

Oh I know he wasn't against it. In one of my many expeditions to learn of past tomfoolery. I saw mention that his profile pic was a commission he had of her getting dicked down. Believe by another one of his characters? Which I found hilarious considering how he seemed up to that point. But I'm curious, commissioned by whom? It's one thing to get weird on your own terms. Another if someone else joins in, even if the end result is the same. We all know these folks have quite the penchant for watching and making us do the same.
