Lilith's Throne takes ages for any new content but when that "new content" comes out it's like 5-10 minutes worth of read or look at this new area with lots of placeholders and nothing to do (yeah I know Inno works basically "alone", but really, 1-2 months of wait for what?), LT is a time bomb until the game can't suffer anymore from performance because of the old java version being used, I can see this game being abandoned at some point because either of burnout from Inno or because the game is a bloated mess of spaghetti code.

I was/am with Liliths throne since the time I found it on fenoxo's site and that was fucklong ago like 5+ ? years and fuck man I still remember the old roadmap/placeholders on the original map that had version numbers for projected implementation of specific locations(plains,jungle,savannah) but thats old news, also by this point I feel like sooner than later the game itself will choke one the spaghet code that its programmed in.

In regards to wiki, hadn't they said something along the line of not trusting the massess with maintaining/adding content to the wiki and only authors or trusted people can change that ? I may be misremembering tho as that topic wasnt talked about for months. Still it seems petty as shit or just powertrippin to not let people handle the wiki, I could understand if it was updated regularly and not in the state that it is right now.

I mean, the fact they still even care about the combat in the game is fucking pathetic: no-one gave even the tiniest of shits about combat in these games; it's mostly just makework to put between scenes and let things have at least some progression, but any time spent on it is wasted.

They literally flipped their shit when some pro gamer managed to defeat an unwinnable combat and introduced drastic nerfs to make it impossible.
They routinely rant and rave about how power fantasy is BAD and MC is supposed to be a weakling.

To the players the combat is a chore they don't care about. But to the dev it is of critical importance.
Imagine if a mod like CoC Xianxia existed for CoC which made you actually powerful? Savin would have a stroke

I wrote about this earlier in this thread but they are absolutely terrible game designers because they have the worst possible attitude towards making games, like incompetent dungeon masters in Dungeons and Dragons (which they frequently allude to as inspiration, ironically enough) they believe they have a "vision" that should be forced onto people, but they aren't fucking Hideo Kojima, they're Hideuos Fox-furries and amateurs when it comes to game development.

Both the mods and the wikis involve relinquishing control, and small petty people don't want to give up the power they have, because again, they're xiaoren, small, petty people. Any and all changes are solely supposed to be at their beck and call and control; that's why they pretend that their forum submission nonsense is the same or better than modding: it lets them maintain their self-image as being powerful.

But they're not. They're amateur devs getting paid for making a smut game. They have to protect their delusion of adequacy and like all delusionals they lash out at those inflicting reality on them. They get away with it because they have a niche; while there's been a few devs following Fenoxo and the original COC they haven't yet managed to mount a real challenge, but we'll see if time doesn't change that. (Especially not TITs has gone, hah, tits up with that atrociously shit UI that manages to keep all the bad parts of the old one while throwing out the few decent things it had)

edit: Look at how they view characters for instance; they write down who "owns" it and get hissy over them; this is because they're not competent game devs but roleplayers who write smut. This is why they have to have "permission" to do things (though I doubt they really care that much and just use it as an excuse)

The opposition to "power fantasy" in addition to being petty and annoying is also pointless, because save editors exist and if a player wants that power fantasy he can just boost his character and stats up to level one hundred and one shot literally everything. There's not even really a downside to this strategy so long as you leave quest flags and the like alone, or at least I haven't encountered any issues.

At least, that's what I do at any rate, if I want challenge then I'll go play a Souls game or Doom: Eternal on higher difficulties. On the short list of reasons why I play porn games, challenge is not one of them. At least not the kind of "Challenge" that the devs of this game make.

On the contrary, they self-select yes-men and morons because they benefit from it and because of the small pool of games with content like this they can get content in for free, the same way that scammers self-select for dumb marks by making their appeals suitably stupid, because they don't want to get people clever enough to see through their scheme at a later point. As a business model, it isn't the worst I've seen but that's because it's a patreon milking scheme, not a gamedev one.

This has always been my question why is it that it feels like the player character is the only person doing anything when there are literal gods in the world. Ok maybe the gods see demon lady as just an annoyance so they don't personally get involved but it still doesn't make sense that they aren't sending people to stomp out her forces.
