Well that explains a whole helluva lot. On the one hand I do agree with the self-sufficient rule, cuz submitting a character that is only 25% done and the writer disappearing would suck a lot. But on the other hand, this happens.

Kas is an interesting beast. I have tried to mod my save to give me high corruption, I scrolled through her scenes and from what I remember they were perfectly fine, don't remember a lot though. Maybe in the future when there's a pure version of her (the sprites are in the files) I can dive in more. The problem with Kas is, that I don't really see the champ as being a corrupt character.

You don't have to be corrupt to bang and romance her. My champ has like 10 corruption and has never gone above like 25. Just chill and cloister for a bit whenever you get some corruption. Either that or kiss Cait daily because that removes corruption for some reason.

Definitely better than Adjatha that's for sure.

Now if only they could actually get her to replace DCL's busts...

Always sucks when writers/creatives act that way. In my experience it's because they can't divorce themselves from their work, so any criticism of their work feels like the critic not understanding them at best or a personal attack at worst. It's a lack of professionalism that's very common in younger, newer, or hobbyist writers. Namely the type who you'd likely find writing in internet communities, though even professionally published writers aren't immune to this shit.

Yeah I agree. While i have some small issues with her stuff, it's much better than how DCL's has turned out. Now everyone he does looks super short, very chiselled, and very childish? Just looks off to me.

Personally if I see something was written by gardeford, bubs, savin, tobs or skow then I dismiss it instantly and don't even bother reading what it's about in the patch notes. I've been following this game on and off long enough to know that these people couldn't write something decent even if their life depended on it.
If I see something was written by will, B or wsan I at least read what the stuff they wrote is about in the patch notes before 9 times out of 10 dismissing it too cause it's just more shit I'm not into. And if I look at their track record from the last two or so years those 3 are barely any better than the other writers anymore anyways in my opinion.

I think this is the good ending, having the focus and will to write something whole instead of giving up midway and doing the sex scenes in a rush.

I actually enjoy amateur writing (as in writing, not necessarily reading), and I wrote a 77 page document for a character, with maybe roughly 60 or so pages of content (rest being notes on the character, history and the like). It's a Part 1 (of three planned), but I gave up on the CoC submission about six months in and turned to just writing a story instead.

I think the thread is still somewhere on the fenoxo forums.

Edit: fuck me I also found the other document I made afterwards for a different character, about 40 pages. Too busy, entirely forgotten about them.

Well, characters that fucks with each other is okay. There are plenty of porn games where player is an observer (in a good meaning of this word) without any ntr/voyeurism/etc elements, both text and...ehh, non-text? I mean, world that doesnt rotates around players 'child bearing organ' is a good thing.

Concept of goddess of fertility that personally bear children for families that suffers from sterility and asked zeus for gods help here is a kinky, cool, 10 out of 10 on the fingertips, GOTY, approved by chuck norris personally, etc. Player literally able to do a gods work and spread his progeny to entire world in the meantime.
Also this could be extended to the quote unquote 'bad end' where goddess decided 'hmmmm, you such a passionate lover, such passion should been spread around the world to increase amoung of my followers', kidnap player and forces him to mate with her for all of eternity, effectively putting 'child bearing' duty on industrial conveyor rails. I liked the update personally, the elven lore was pretty cool... leagues better than the magic puppy trap fiasco. Learning about Etheryn and Daliza's family history during the war had to be somewhat interesting to those who actually find the characters enjoyable.
