It just feels abrupt to me in some of the scenes. Particularly the orgy, it makes it sound like there's another page of fun, but nope. Plus a few scenes come off as submissive after playing up how they're basically under your command. Petting Aesgir is a good example of this where they get upset with you for calling them a good puppy and not in a bratty way, but effectively telling you not to do it again or else. Then it comes off as your character being excited about the prospect of being punished, but at least it leaves it up to you. Just feels a bit dissonant to me.
I mean ain't that in the core DNA of this game? Your character but molded for someone else's personality, wants and desires on a whim. The champ wants to do everything, with you being the only reason they aren't allowed to you monster! Don't you see? Your champ wanted to be a sub. You as the horrible player having to make decisions every once in a blue moon. Are the one dashing their dreams of being a bottom. And not even a power bottom. They just want to take it all!

I'm not sure who's TOBS' worst character but I hate their habit of creating a problem and then saying the mc/player is powerless to help. What's the point in bringing up the problem if there's no solution? I get Savin is against "power fantasy" but TOBS takes it to the next level by making situations where the player wants to help but saying that you can't and that feels awful.

It's part of why I don't free Kikiyo from the orb and keep my interactions with most Kitsune content to a minimum. The cute interactions with Kino turns to shit so I've decided to just not go down that route. Why you'd shit on a wholesome scenario by making one parent feel left out on important decisions(engagement) in her life makes absolutely no sense to me. Why interact with the Kitsune when all but 2 act like they hate your guts? Why would I waste my time with characters/content like that?

TObs is one of those cases that just plain shows how absolutely incompetent Savin is as a project manager. When it comes down to it, as a leader, you need to put your foot down on some matters and very plainly set a few things in stone. The PC in this game is a mess that changes from writer to writer to the point where they look like a schizo when looking at it from the outside. They're either the world's greatest ace or a bumbling moron who can't do shit right.

Somehow the mc in this game is written less consistently than TiTS' eventho that game has 3 different personality scores.

I like being able to explore open worlds and flying to different planets. Plus, I kinda like science fiction so I really can't complain.

Most of the main settlements look amazing in their own right like New Atlantis with its Sci-Fi utopia aesthetic, Akila City with its rugged wild west feel, and Neon's cyberpunk vibe.

I've grown to like some of the character's like Barrett's friendly laid-back personality, Sam Coe's cowboy look and that he's voiced by the actor who voiced Adam Jenson from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Vasco.

Being able to customize your own ship was a nice touch, plus I've seen people made some cool looking ships online.

And I like some of the side missions like one has you investigating an "alien" ship above a paradise planet while another has you going to a different planet and meeting famous historical figures like FDR.

I like to think I'm an optimist.
Okay, those are valid points. I too liked the ship customization (but that's about it lol). Keep being an optimist, that's a good thing... :)
