Innoxia she is my friend, and yes she is some lazy and always has stress , im not talking about her more !!! she doesn't accept any one codes except herself (if she will agreed with that, i could be coding at her game and making that game some similar like a Fable, i like java and known that language very well) !! any way i created a Mod for her game, but because of her i will not published that, the mods only works for me , and you must have the knowledge of Eclipse and Maven (and java coding) to install that mod !!

Java is a good language you can write your codes one time (only one time), for any platform ! for example i want to created a mobile app, and i want to make that app for windows too (i prefer Linux), the code in java is global, i do not need any changes in my code, i only need a JDK and some little changes in my code, to run that app in windows !! (because of Interpreter)
but in the other languages you need to port all your codes for other platform (of course we have QT and this will gives you so many output options)

Funny comment but there's obviously actual deep resentment of the character here, can you explain why? She is written outside of Wsan's work on CoC2 and can be immediately disabled before engaging with her so she has no impact on your game. If you have an option to completely remove content you dislike from the game how can you still be so angry about it? Do you see why it seems very strange?

More generilzed distate worded in a heavily sarcastic manner because i've long since stopped discussing this game in a serious manner. Suffice to say, at worst i believe the character is a waste of time, but that it's no one's fault but the devs who've likely figured out their Patreon income is plateud no matter how (little) effort they put in- so might as well make bank with commissions and everything else gets on the backlog. Even beyond your character, we've recentely seen that with the gladiator futa who likely had more words spent on her - considering the arena is all one big prelude to that encounter - than the meeting with the royals (which took them 2/3 to push out, i believe?). And besides, that even beyond commissions those samey characters just keep oncoming doesn't help either.

But this whole thing is a fetish factory for other people, thinly veiled as a game. And even when liking what's on offer. It still feels/comes off as made for someone else. Like we as the writers like this so we put it in. Oh you like it too? Perfect! Then it works out in the end. We were going to do it regardless of you, so it works out that you're fine/into it too.

But if they could still get paid to make this game regardless. I believe they would remove us as players and keep it going on for themselves, as if we never existed. That's how a lot of this game came off for me. And again, I speak for myself on this.

But isn't that the best way to make games? You should create what you want to see and hopefully you'll find an audience who share your interests. Otherwise you get games that try to appeal to everyone and does nothing well. That's why AAA games are in the state they are in now. I'll agree that the mc should have more agency.

I'm Fifty Fifty on this, while I agree a Dev should make games they enjoy (my goats like Hideki Kamiya, Shinji Mikami, Hidetaka Miyazaki, and Chris Avellone live by this principal) it should never be to the alienation of everyone or strip the player of agency. If they have an object/gimmick they should stick to it and explore it but with making accessible (learning curbs are a must) and maintain player choice were applicable.
But like ChubbyFatBoy said they don't do that, you are a long for their ride where your agency is taken at random and ppl with money to fling will get to put in whatever gimmick character regardless of where it fits into the big picture of the game because money.

AAA games are dying because: 1) Investors keep sticking their noise into the deving process to demand gimmicks from other games be shoved into their own regardless of whether it matches the vibe or just straight up copy-pasting popular games (see the 1000+ soulslikes, uhg). 2) Investors really only care about the bottom line so if they can split the game into piece for sale (making Dlc while simultaneously making the game/Microtransactions) which fucks up gaming culture. 3) Both Devs and Investors are push woke nonsense on ppl and most folks are tired of it, while I do think they do it for different reasons; Devs imo being the useful idiots that believe in the movement and Investor/Companies wanting Blackrock credit and funding.

Ahh so she was always meant to be an adversary? I thought she may have been like the blue giant guardian where you start as enemies because the peaceful route hasn't been implemented yet.

Like she bad ends you because she thinks that's the best way to complete her task and you'd get a way to show your abilities to possibly avoid that.

Originally yes, but things changed during the planning with Wsan, mainly because he thought having her as just another hostile NPC would be a bit boring and I was inclined to agree. She'd have effectively worked like Sandre and Caera I'd imagine.

During her initial interactions with the PC she sees them more as a tool to achieve her goals than a partner, if they have some fun along the way then that's just a bonus. Kaly is not playing on your team, but your goals are somewhat aligned, think of her as a mysterious witch of the woods who seems to be working alongside you yet refuses to explain why while she pulls and tugs at your strings. That is meant to make you somewhat uncomfortable with her, the dynamic is finding her hot but also knowing that giving into those desires is a bad idea, a metaphorical succubus without the wings (plus the two extra hooves). She's a bad influence, but your curiosity draws you in, it's exciting because it's dangerous. I hope that explains why me and Wsan designed her content the way it is, currently in the game she is a 'villain'.

I will say though, Wsan is just writing for a porn game, any percieved slight is just that so please don't see it as him trying to antagonise you. He worked his butt off writing Kaly and I've been very happy with it so far as the commissioner.

CoC2 doesn't tend to write characters in a satisfying manner, don't build relationships, and don't create reasonable scenarios with which an NPC could become open to content X or Y.

They're always down for X or Y
And due to them always being down for X or Y, even if they don't do X or Y, they're always a character that could enjoy X or Y. The origin point is the same but it leads to different outcomes solely on observation. That's nonsense. CoC2 loves doing that alongside telling and not showing.

For the porn space, anecdotally speaking, there's not a single game I've followed that hasn't taken a substantial amount of player input or at least considered the potential reactions of the player base when building their game. This stretches from things like 'where to spend developer time' to 'length and amount of content' to 'choice and scope of paths' to even simple things like "what do these character even look like". And most of them run polls constantly to keep their thumb on the pulse of their community. Feedback is substantially more useful on the rise than it is on the decline.

That said, there needs to be a bit of rigidity or else you end up like some games that completely lose their focus and the game devolves into an incomprehensible mess. A mish-mash of unfinished ideas, broken plot threads, shifting personalities, and obviously changing directions.

So some of the complaints you can read on Veilguard:

• The lack of player choice.
• The inability to be mean. Impossible to even disagree with your companions.
• Weaker characters with less depth
• Substantially fewer narrative choices
• Boring combat. I think the combat is fine. Personally. In Veilguard. It sucks in CoC2

And much like CoC2, you can play Veilguard for free.
I'm pretty sure we're playing exactly CoC2: Dragon Age Edition.

If this was what was represented then I 'd like her a lot more but that's not what we got; the PC doesn't bring up counter offers or the fact that a corrupted champ that is down for nefarious actions wouldn't recognize when they're being musked into compliance or asks "why can't I fuck u instead since u need me more than I need u?" We are forced to participate instead of negotiate like how the scene is framed.
