In the least tarded timeline Tobs is really just a consultant coming up with character concepts and/or has his work heavily edited to cut out the superflous shit.

Absolutely agree. Pretty much all of his ideas started off promising in my opinion. I honestly liked Kiyoko at the beginning, and interacting with child Kinu was the most impactful part of the game for me. I know the choices with Kinu are a binary, but the same could be said about pretty much ever other choice in this game. But then you get to the Kitsune den and all the freedom goes away, and everyone there hates you. Plus the writer thinks you're a creep for wanting to spend time with you child.

I honestly wonder what Tobs childhood was like, if they believe parents wanting to take care of their children is creepy. Like you have games like the sims where more than half the content is built around taking care of something.

Assuming this is even a little bit accurate, this behavior is like, insane, right? I assume most people who actively support the game don't know this happened? This is the kind of thing that would IMMEDIATELY make me reconsider backing a dev team that is THIS dysfunctional. How can you even say a character is dead to you when you are the LEAD DEV for the game that character is in?
And that argument between the Quinn writer and a couple of people in the discord, Savin just saw all of that and just let it happen and then GETS INVOLVED THEMSELVES? Like wtf? Isn't it your job as the game director (or whatever tf savin is) to step in and NOT allow that kind of behavior? The thought of how good this game could be if it was lead competently and how we'll never get that is really sad. And savin has to be 30+ right? And they act like such a child?

And given how TOBS writes most of his scenes, I doubt people would like it for long.
Because of this thread I've started hunting down scenes I haven't bothered with before, and all of TOBS's are the same degradation material. Dick goes in and woman becomes a babbling ball of meat that you then end up slapping about while she does nothing but lie there. Goes on too long, and I don't recall agreeing anywhere to play an asshole who insults his sex-partners.

This re-organization (assuming the Wsan post lines up with when it all happened and wasn't too long after the fact) is actually more disturbing to me, because it suggests it was Savin's retaliation against Wsan. Savin is their boss, and he allowed that content through after a rejection. TOBS's actions are like an attack dog that Savin set loose to punish an unruly employee.

Not possible anymore. Berwyn whas removed from being a companion because that woud be to much effort and hiring another writer for him would cost MONEY. So they just let his male companion version die and instead turn him like the cats into a tavern only female guest.
Honestly this game is one of those games where I hope it will sooner or later be abdoned or hastly finished so the community can instead put out this dumbsterfire and instead turn it into a beautiful piece of art.

Tobs being Savin's attack douche is nothing new, a large part of the Kinu crap was a reaction to Savin's butthurt over Helspawn. Lots of BS brought up from stuff they wrote for FOE as well, like the den definitely reflects the poor reception Tobs rabbit den got there.

Especially as it was content that many of us wouldn't have thought of if he hadn't started it. Most of my CoC characters choose the spiderboy option for her (in one form or another), and the only times I've picked the incest is because I've gone "Oh, well I guess as it's there."
