Additionally, A LOT of posts and comments were pretty much just asking "When is Roo becoming a crewmate????" hell even the most recent William's Wall reply is that I believe lol.
Besides being Waifu Bait isn't you know, the point of a character in a porn game? like you want the coomers and players alike to go after them like what's the logic lol? why would it be a bad thing? what's the issue here?
Problem: Dane is a dude and we know damn well that dude bros who aren't twinks hardly get any content (See Brint, hell Tits new update added Edan stuff but still a rather rarity) seems like Dane is going to take a looooong while before that.
From where you're cooming it must seem like an 18-carat run of bad luck. But, truth is... the game was rigged from the start.

Sure, probably.
But if you have 1000 other things to work on and you were already paid....can't imagine you'd want to put more time into something that wasn't your baby, isn't gonna make you any more money AND the person who paid you lost interest.
I feel like Brint/Brienne would be a lot more interesting if alternating between forms, be it voluntarily or involuntarily like Ranma, instead of permanent

Well I mean he's stupid either way then, but I don't really agree with a commission being just the commissioners. He's been working on these games for a while by then, surely he can estimate how janky something like that would be. It also still seems very passive aggressive to call a character someone else wrote as "waifubait without the waifu". Like it doesn't even make sense and is just a jab at either the character or writing. There are a fuckton of more bland characters in that game than Roo so again, just a stupid and/or rude thing to say.
I don't think it was a jab at the character OR the writing. William was part of that conversation and they were discussing the poker parts.
I'm pretty sure all it meant was that shelving Roo wouldn't hurt anything. She's not tied to a greater story or purpose, so she can wait for the actual waifuing.
Eh, I doubt I would be into Brienne as much if I had to deal with her being a big beefy man every other day.
Oddly enough that brief bar talk with Dane about his life before being hired by your cousin is exponentially more compelling than the thousand+ words Savin has written about the world of Savarra. If his crew expac has him being a total bro with my Steele instead of being his bitch I'll gladly welcome him onboard, and I'm incredibly biased towards herm/fem crewmates.
He's the same man that wrote a church that grooms children into becoming prostitutes for said church. And the god's name is Mallach which sounds similar to Moloch. He's not a very bright fellow.

What's here to explain? They got corrupted like any other patreon game, and almost never release any updates anymore. On a rare occasion they do release something - it's some miniscule bugfixes, and mybe a one-off side character that would never get any updates.
