For me, that's what I hate about TiTs You get hooked, emotionally invested, then they blue ball you.

Uveto temple? Canceled.
Pornstar stranded on Myrellion? Canceled.
Bianca crew route? Canceled.
Kara's next quest? Canceled.
Hand Solo? Canceled.

The lists go on and on.

Also add a bunch of "key" items teasing quests that have been canceled, and the ship system which they gave up on, even though you still have a permanently unavailable route to adopt a bunch of Myr ladies onto your Star Destroyer and create a harem (which has been canceled given ships ain't going no where).

That's why for me, CoCII is better simply because they have more commitment. You know that the fox lady stuff is going to be bullshit. You know that Savin has a hard-on for one-time pregnancies. Rarely, if ever, do they promise you something grand only to turn their back on it

In a perfect world my suula Steele would be reaching the end with her and Azra, so many planets, so much fun and adventures with the crew but now, now I don't care anymore. I'm sure the last planet will be a place made of goo in the form of a onahole whose sole inhabitant is bound to be a feno/savin being made of dicks that is somehow, the ultimate life form ever, something taken from Starfield's blandness and modded by the smelliest furries ever in their goon caves of Moria Discord

Combat is smoother compared to CoC2 to the point where I actually play TiTS as a game rather than cursing Savin everytime I have a combat encounter.

This is the biggest point against, if you ask me. God, I fucking hate this game's combat. It's not that I don't care about it, I actively hate it. Couldn't even fucking hit without going for agility as a mandatory stat until just recently. Absolutely atrocious, horrible trash.

Combat also isn’t the only way through encounters in TiTS (though the alternative method is usually to it up the ass; actual puzzle solutions are few and far between), whereas victory through combat is required for every single story encounter in CoC2, which further detracts from the sandbox RPG aspect; no matter what, you’re forced to engage with combat at every turn.

No, mostly because Savin and company want you to always fight with a party. The one solo fight I recall is against the Star Wars quest boss and he doesn't resist charm. Most charm resistant enemies are golems.
