I wouldn't pay much heed to the reviews on this site, they are not indicative of a games "quality".

Like Trials in Tainted Space, which in my opinion, is a worst game in comparison to CoC2 yet has a higher rating despite suffering from similar, and even worst, problems as it. Like the nonsense "Too many futas" shit that is a nonstop complaint here is essentially true in regards to TiTS.

Shit Summertime Saga only somewhat recently dropped to like a high 3 stars despite TAKING AWAY content and then drip feeding that same content back for like past 5 years(exaggeration but not inaccurate).

I only played Summertime Saga because one of the mods made for me the whole, "your dad died, now bang this ladies and get some money of the mafia will break your legs", kind of enjoyable. Revamping the whole thing seems like a crime. At least with this game you can get something good from time to time, they are still milking it dry but in a way less shameless manner, if that makes any sense

In that same recent update you have repeatable content where you bang a set of twins, both female, after completing a quest(said quest you are with 2 other regular females as well. And you get a scene with them too). Ylvid, a regular female orc, got a pregnancy expansion(which includes a new sex scene involving Hertha, another regualr female orc). And Drifa, another regular female, got new scene.

But nah, because there are 2 whole scenes involving a futa, all that other shit just doesn't exists despite being how much more content there is in comparison.

Also, it's not a single update, you absolute clown. Public patches are little more than compilations (not even actually true, since backer patches have already been implemented, just not available for the poor) of backer updates that came out earlier, which means the actual update are the changes that get listed BEFORE the [ New Since Last Public Patch: ] part of the patch log.
Which in turn means the actual update we got only had two scenes. One being cait fucking the minotaurs while Champ sits in the cuck chair, and the other being taking a bath at Lumia's castle. Oh, and an irreversible enshittification of the UI. What a generous update.

Relax my angry friend, I never implied that futas make up the majority of content in the game. The content you listed isn't from the most recent update, it's from a summary of scenes added in the past month. If you were being fair you might have brought up Alante's futa expansion or Nieve's post-pregnancy content.

For the record, my biggest problem with futa content in this game is how obnoxious it tends to be. A large number of futa scenes automatically have you fondle balls and give out handjobs, and that's not counting the dom-only futas. Demons like Kasyrra have the ability to remove their dicks whenever they want, but they almost never do. You could solve a lot of these problems by giving characters the agency to dedick characters, but that rarely happens and the inverse is far more common. And personally, domming futas is some of my favorite content in these games while getting dommed isn't. Just makes the lack of options even more annoying.

Am I part of a minority that doesn't mind the futa content? Genuinely asking. That said It seems like the go to patch is either pregnancy or futafication of a pre-existing character or something that encourages dickening of the player so maybe that's where the fatigue comes from?

Unlike CoC2, TiTS is actually in that state. From the point that I made this post to now it's never derailed from a cock focused sausage party. I checked recently (man a state of affairs when I can't even be bothered to keep up with even reading the updates) and the consolation patch for this entire months is giving two blowjobs. To put on top of the two you could give last month.

Naturally with the decay or unlearning of the penmen of emotional eroticism.
So it's press (A) to receive exposition and (B) to fuck.

CoC2 still isn't like that (barring the poor relationships)
Alante's expansion was predominantly futa so yeah that's noticeable.
But the last few months have been extremely varied. Mayternity, a bit lackluster though it was, was also predominantly female.
The recently big update was what? A voyeur scene, five females, two males, and one dickgirl.

Furthermore, there promises to be followups for at least three NPCs post quest. The succubus, the summon, and the... I guess the term these days is "femboy". Potentially five if the twins don't get aband~ pfft hahaha.

I mean, sure, if we gloss over the numbers then you might have a point, until you actually take a look at the volume of content introduced, and not just the NPC count. Regardless of the count they always have more net content volume, as the stock male/female NPCs are a lot of the time barren or incomplete content-wise.

And for the longest time before that it felt like we got at least one Kalysea-related piece of content per update, the NPC with arguably the most content among side-NPCs.

I could go on but this should visualize the NPC count - Content disparity. You keep on bringing up the numbers without stopping to consider that maybe the fact that said disparity stems from specific futa characters getting more and more content -- the reason they're not introducing as many new ones (which they still do) as non-futa NPCs.
A lot (not all) of the "many" female NPCs introduced have little content in comparison (not considering the ones with "optional" futafication content). Male NPCs just have it bad on both ends, having both low NPC count (interesting ones especially) and low volume of content, but that's a can of worms for another discussion.

A big portion of the game's content belongs to Savin's characters, and most of them just happen to be futa content or related to it (either that or getting cucked), among other writers with the same interests (because they totally don't live in an echo chamber).
So yeah, we can't ever win this one, but not because of you waving around quantitative fallacies, but because this is just what the writers are most interested in.

idk it's hit or miss most of the time. Their current art is great don't get me wrong, but the game still has a lot of their old art when they weren't as good. But even their recent stuff is still hit or miss for me, such as in the case with Atugia, where I am still not a fan of her bust. Moira just does it better.
