Hey everybody, I repurposed a modloader named KittyPatcher from Course of Tempation to Corruption of Champions 2, that makes modding this game easy, painless, and flexible. It works like a traditional game modding system where all mod files are put in a mod folder, a script is launched, and it mods the game for you. Me and Azriel are working on making it as update proof as possible (although it is already update proof for many mods you'd be making).

All mods released and developed for this game have been updated and integrated using KittyPatcher. So you can get all COC2 mods from one place using one easy method.

Also, it's something embedded in the setting. Both TITS and COC2 are never ending orgies and you as the player are expected to jump from one to another while doing other stuff, and part of that setting include futas domming everyone. This is a consequence of the writing team being really into it and their audience being really into it too

That's another difference between CoC1 and 2. I remember doing playthroughs with characters who were super duper "my bunghole is off limits", and then any of the futas in the cast turned into walking cumdumps with a spigot attached. You had the option back then to interact with the characters in different ways, whereas all the CoC2 futas(and the TiTs futas) are written with an intention that your butthole is free real-estate.

I'm pretty sure a lot of the hate comes from her being tied to the true ending of the game. If you don't like the character and jump through her hoops you're locked out.

Which is why even though folks don't (I still do) like her. I appreciate Urta. Because if she did something you didn't like. You got to tell her. Hell a few times you could really lay into her. I'll say it with my whole belly. She's one of the best characters to me. You get the investment relationship wise. Or you can get the investment from telling her to kick rocks. Not perfect but pretty good.

Funny thing that. Until Amily, Urta was a really liked character. Because as you said you could really lay in on her if you wanted. Fen wrote that into the game for players that didn't like her. She also had reasonable ways for her relationship to progress that weren't basic toggles.

So an additional funny thing about that.
From a meta side of things. Outside of that disastrous threesome Fen was pretty open about people writing for that character as well. I distinctly remember Fen talking about how he was totally okay with de-dicking if somebody wanted to write (or pay for him to write) that content.

People probably would have gone further in an alternative timeline where that threesome didn't happe and Fen, through various shenanigans, didn't just absolutely torpedo good will with a lot of the old writers.
Still, being willing to work with any content, as long as it's good, is a far cry from Izma whose writer had to be forced (and Savin in general) when you get down to it.

Crazy how this game lost its potential, we could have had a story-rich world with characters that have their own pros and cons, instead all we have is a world where fucking everything/everyone is a norm and everyone is just a sex addict without a story behind them. How sad the lead devs have done to abandon the hype it deserves.

Up to what point is the story in the game considered good? Don't get me wrong but I love this game and I just want to spare myself from the immense disappointment that everyone talks about since I'm pretty slow on all of it.

For me it was right after learning about Cait's idea of love and you can't actually romance her/be loyal to you and instead just a character without a personality beside sex and fucking, huge turnoff actually. Why the writers have to ruin best characters by adding their own fetishes and not adding actual story/character development?

And I think that's the main problem. How long has the game been stuck on the minotaur city? Why work on finishing the main story when we can publish a one off fetish "character" is probably the dev's thinking.

Look at Cait. Her background has potential to explore how fucked up the setting is before Kas' arrival but nope she just loves to sleep around and her idea of romance is anal... Just because this is an adult game that doesn't mean that writing a good story should just be ignored.
