Femboy/girl original Quin is an easy fix, just let Tollus use his magic when learning from Quins betrayal (we don't see any other cultist run away, let's say by that time everyone was enthralled by demon magic but him), now he's turning into a girl but instead of doing it like Brianne we go slowly, fem Quin is far more vulnerable and transformation magic doesn't seem to help as the source of his corruption is beyond regular means. The rest is slow corruption type magical camp, let's say, a way to explore this new side of him that was there before. With a good writer, it could be something great

In this scenario Quin worships you as you become a source of comfort, either by pushing his corruption, lets say, full slutty bimbo, or a more measured way, so he becomes more soft and honest to you, and, sharing a similar path to girl Quinn, he actually wants to help and goes out of his way to help

This is another easy fix, original Quin waits for you to buy equipment because no one likes him, when a truly grateful Quin would've tried anyway, and you stop him as he has no way to actually help you

I like the concept of femboy quin, but I feel it hits heavier if his femboy transformation is something we have a active part in. I want to get him to the point where he detest his own looks and with each corruption stage he subconsious transforms into something that would better serve his hero, the champ. I want the effects of corruption and your manipulation to feel cruel and selfish, showing how the corruption is affecting you spiritually and mentally, but not making you dumb or a slave to your vices. I want it to be more in line with how COC 1 handled it. While I would leave the female Quinn to something else, i'd say the corrupt femboy Quinn's path is all about crushing his self-esteem and his sense of self. Making him realize how useless he is without you and how he doesn't serve a purpose without being in service to you. Let the townspeople be harsher and cruel to him. Let one girl who grows to like him be fucked by you and completely forget about him. I want to do some rank shit and crush his spirit. The point isn't just to corrupt him, because that would simply make him more of his worst self, the point is to shape him with corruption. Like, corrupt Amily is extremely devoted to you because you fed her your evil jizz and you are basically her fix. Quiin is stuck in a place where everyone hates him and wants nothing to do with him, but outside cultist want to kill him and pretty much everything else is hostile. Even if he were to sneak off somewhere else, there's no guarantee he'd be safe and not just assassinated or kidnapped for god knows what. Hawketorn is the only place where he's safe (Or the waypoint, God knows that should really be our base of operations, not a damn bar). It will be the perfect place to isolate, manipulate, and subjugate him.

A bit much of a reaction for what's essentially a minor issue, no? Like yeah it doesn't really fit but to call B a bad writer over it is kind of silly. Their content isn't off-putting, they usually give some options, and the characters themselves are written well enough. I mean the fact that your biggest issue with the expansion is something this small and arguably more the reviewer's fault is kind of telling enough. What's shit is stuff like Leofric, Kitsunes, and pretty much the entire main quest. To put it on the same level as those things just doesn't make sense to me.

I really don't think we should be putting down writers who actually seem to put a bit of effort into their shit just because of one thing that sounds off. Like I get it can be cathartic to bitch about the game but this is just aimed at the wrong place.

Oh I have a reason for hating on B. His stuff is forgettable and milk toast. In fact, that's an insult to milk toast, because at the very least, milk toast acts as a baseline. It's just kinda bland, it's in offensive, but it doesn't evoke any feelings. Anything that is fantastical that gets put in B's hand it gets reduced to the point that it's no longer fantastic or special. A good example is Agnimitra. She's so fucking plain yet she's supposed to be one of the most fantastical and wild beings in the setting.

But the Raikou's one reminds me of Tolkien's Uruk-hais with that face of hers. Her shoulders in that portrait being almost twice as wide as her hips doesn't help either.
