Second, there are some weird design choices behind Quin that never pan out in a meaningful way, like, the loser protagonist works when he's allowed to have something else, there's a difference between the bland mc protagonist, solo leveling guy before the power up and Milhouse, and no one wants to be a Milhouse, nor should create a Milhouse unless said character is there only to poke fun at them

With Quin I'm able to appreciate the concept behind, and then there's nothing else, not even his sadness is that funny

For what it's worth, it's not really bad or offensive, not really my idea for Komari, but that's more of a headcanon meets canon sort of thing.

I just found the reaction from you folks hilarious when I asked about getting to that point. Did find the reaction that some characters have about the act great though.

I've always hated the mercs and the weird story and gameplay segregation where they act like the shit-tier mobs they were hired to deal with but for some reason they're allowed in town and no one calls them out on their BS. Credit to Bluebird for at least wanting to complete them but I'd rather they just scrap Leofric and the merc concept and take Lusamine, Jen, and Boomer and make them their own thing. Though some ending is better than nothing at least and I'm not gonna fault someone for wanting to try. Bluebird's concept for their ending is better than the original imo. Though if implemented I hope demon Jen doesn't disappear.

Even that shitty prostitute and her boyfriend from Berserk (Tower of Conviction arc), despite recognizing themselves as weak, frail people, had a clear objective, a want and they did something about it, with Quin?, nothing

Something I've been researching and seeing in writing is that you always give your secondary or tertiary characters small objectives and/or a small arc, even if you never implement them, you just have that shit on stand by. It doesn't have to be complex. Just simple, and they fail at that shit.

Now I want a grappler class, with special attacks based after the Vendetta finishers. An inverted hurricanrana to neck snap on Leofric like DMX did on that game would've been hype as fuck.
