I remember that scene from CoC1! Came as a pleasant surprise when I played that game.
I don't begrudge anyone what they like (or don't like) in a game they enjoy! And I can certainly understand why you and so many others don't like Brint. As I've said in my lil vent posts, there's a lot about him that rubs me the wrong way, too. But I guess, just like in Real Life :tm: I'm just... disappointed by how much
potential awesome there could be in a nice relationship with Brint. As Gordon Ramsay would say, "The flavors are there!" and the sparks of something really great. I'm a sucker for big, loveable himbo goofballs with big hearts (and big other things ;3). But the reality we're stuck with is just.. meh. There's not many gay options in the game as it is, in terms of actual relationships, it's like 80% futadoms (as thousands of comments in the thread have already talked about ad nauseam) and even a lot of the straight relationships are kind of perfunctory in comparison.
Ironically, speaking of Brint, the throuple of sorts that you can have going with Elthara is another thing that could have real potential to be a heartwarming and fun poly relationship. A nice third wheel to the relationship between to hunky mino boys.

could be such an amazing character, like Brienne (whom I definitely also like!), if they handled him better, and gave options/variables? for you
also being a big, hunky minotaur and not just a total submissive to The Uber Chad Bull-bro That Is Brint. Some of the scenes, like his Christmas gift scene and the wedding and related scenes, especially, are good already but could be truly heartwarming with some much-needed polish.
But yeahhh.. all of your complaints are totally valid, I absolutely agree! And I don't mean any of this as a complaint against you or anyone else who doesn't like Brint at all
I'm just venting and complaining that Brint (at least in my opinion) has a lot of potential to be really great, and wish he becomes that some day for us poor saps who are starved for anything resembling a nice gay relationship that falls outside of the usual Big Hunky Chad Bro and Lil Femme Twink Submissive (not that there's anything wrong with that match up either! it's a classic for a reason). Give us our gay love with TWO big hunky bull boys that like to play-wrassle to see who tops first and takes turns after, etc.!
