Yeah, that'd be pretty nice. The game has some variety, but nothing is deep enough. I think "bad" endings are the easiest way of doing that, but they're still writing only to jack themselves off.

I don't know about any of you, but I really enjoyed Akane's ending in TiTS. A bit sad that we abandon the rush, but still sweet.

Even regarding only porn games, most devs that I had interacted with, were doing it as a way to make some money. A sizeable chunk of them were disheartened after a few years of being a part of porn game industry.
Even that one dev who was doing it as a hobby in his free time, eventually broke and quit. To his credit, he finished his game before quitting.

Not to mention all the devs who simply abandoned their projects and disappeared.
