Well, the Nina quest is taken straight out of another game, Underrail, and edited to fit.
I have only done the first part, realized that it was taken beat for beat out of Underrail then I stopped, so I can't say how true to source it is, but I think it's safe to say that The Obeserver is a hack.

This indicates that TiTS is overall doing better than CoC2, simply by virtue of there being way less people complaining that something is wrong with TiTS.

I'd argue that it's because only one of them is a sequel. CoC2 carries the name of a decent title that was carried to better standards of fun by mods so when something goes awry on it, it's also trying to yank the previous one down a bit.

Another thing that comes to mind is the thread itself. People's posts push the game to the top of the index, which makes others to find it, download and then maybe add their two cents which isn't that hard since CoC2 is quite easy to talk (and complain) about. I suppose that technically means we're advertising it.

I'll also echo Walk Cycle's statement, doubt most of us like it. We just give it a bit of time because it's funny to follow it.
