I get you man, but its much harder to do that and do it WELL. The reason we don't see much of it( beyond the obvious fact not everyone is willing to fuck something that looks like an animal), is that most people just aren't that good at making something that can accurately translate the movement/etc of ferals. Many don't know how to get it across in text, so we have barely any text only games, and well, 3D or 2D is its own can of worms.
Maybe one day someone will crack the code and we'll get a great game with ferals, but that day is not today
