Why did they take it out of the game again? Regardless I've got no clue about the feasibility of that considering the changes to combat since its removal. Tweaking text and choices is one thing, and messing with complex mechanics like combat is an entirely other beast.

It made things infinitely more difficult to balance things around two different bars instead of just one, is the main jist of it

Small update on my current stuff, since I like being transparent.

-DriderNest is sitting at roughly 20,000 words right now, and is about 2/3rds complete!
-Refnir's wayfort expac is sitting at 23,000 words, and only has two sex scenes left to complete! (About 6,000 words, if the other scenes are any indication, though the writer's block has been particularly bad for this wolf: I wanted to have him done forever ago)

I wanted to have them done by today but got roped into helping my sister out with childcare (RIP) hopefully can be done by tomorrow or the day after

Yeah, that would be Godhand. It's the credits song. It was originally supposed to be more serious when they started, but during development they had a slightly comedic showcase at an event, so they made it the wonderfully goofy game it is. Some bum from IGN gave it a 3/10 back in the day, but that's entirely due to skill issue. Most game journalists were just as pathetic back then as they are now.

I'm not sure which one I would consider the highest fuck up, if it was either rating a game for babies higher than God Hand or that time they had an US guy scorch a Football Manager title because he thought it was meant to be a gridiron game as opposed to, you know, soccer.

Now that I think of it, that'd be another fun thing to mod. An optional god hand that replaces all your moves with stuff from the game. Added bonus that a ball buster knocks out any futa opponent ever.

Hey everybody, I repurposed a modloader named KittyPatcher from Course of Tempation to Corruption of Champions 2, that makes modding this game easy, painless, and flexible. It works like a traditional game modding system where all mod files are put in a mod folder, a script is launched, and it mods the game for you. Me and Azriel are working on making it as update proof as possible (although it is already update proof for many mods you'd be making).

All mods released and developed for this game have been updated and integrated using KittyPatcher. So you can get all COC2 mods from one place using one easy method.

This... confuses me. TiTS has not only health and lust bars, but also force shield, all that layered with resistances and weaknesses. Is it about balancing so a champion with no good gear can do it? Because if it's about some fights becoming easy to some builds, is that really a problem?

No, they're just very lazy and otherwise incompetent. I wouldn't be surprised if the two bars had their code tangled together like fishing line or something.

Plus Savin hates power fantasies, so there can be no such thing as a good build. Anything you have right now that is a good build? That's an accident. That's not supposed to exist. Savin says fuck you.

Well for one, it's just overall much easier to deal with a single bar than 2 from a game development standpoint. The resolve bar also made it so that builds that dealt with the resolve bar were much better since the resolve bar was always lower than hp. There was also the problem with team building as having any one party member than didn't also do resolve damage was a waste of a slot and not every party member had a skill set that could do resolve dmg.

Divinity Original Sin 2 has the same problem were it's WAY better to have an entire team deal either physical or magical dmg since you had to get through a physical or magical shield on an enemy to actually damage them and having a team not like that simply made fights drag on.

That's the worst part about coc 2 in general because pretty much everything has potential and hints of good plot, but it's ruined by lazy writers and being too invested in their ocs and fetishes instead of the players and the actual world.
