TiTS has a particular subset of 'bad' ends, which in actuality are happy ends for Captain Steele, most of the time.
My favourite one is with the Frostwyrm, where you breed and entire army of children with her, and eventually overtake a small planet all to yourself and your family. Which even has small variations depending on your stats and a few character conditions.
Definitely not even a "bad end" either, it's remarkably upbeat and positive. Probably one of my favorite in this whole genre

It's mostly about the option. I don't generally hate things that bring new options on how to handle characters. Alot of people don't like penises on everything and Ryn's whole thing is that she wants to be a girl so helping her there would make her complete in others eyes. It could also be a power thing. I personally recaged ryn when I found out that she would fuck my character with her cock if they slept together from time to time and I never consented to that shit. I think it is a shame how unfinished all the companions and their stories feel right now. I wish the devs would focus more on shit with companions than just adding new forgettable one-off futas. Atleast we'll eventually be getting some more male on male content.
That's not entirely right. Yes, she indeed ends that way if you don't do much with her. But the farm version is more about independence and a rejection of Kitsune traditions. She can become this way if you teach her to be more independent. There are alot of options where she yaps about tradition and being pretty and you can tell that that way of living isn't everything and she shouldn't expect to simply be given things even if she does become a beauty. The scanty-dressed version is the one you pamper and tell white lies to, so she doesn't have to think for herself. Kitsune Hime Kinu is the worst outcome for her imo. Outwardly, she is more sociable and liked by her fellow kitsune, but she unquestioningly follows tradition and nothing more. She isn't prepared for any other world than the kitsune one. Which has a lot of cut-throat politics and general annoying hypocritical tradition shit. She's essentially one of those rich brats who were spoiled so much they are helpless when they leave the nest.
Inari Shoujo has a bad relationship with her mom and isn't like much, but she's her own person. I can see her being out in the world and doing shit. Not being tied down to kitsune or their shitty views. This is mostly my opinion thoughy because they both have their own strengths and flaws depending on their path. Inari Shoujo is more willful and detemined, but she'salso very stubborn and focuses on her view more than others. Kitsune Hime is much more likeable, empathic, and willing to ask for help. But her threshhold is much lower so she isn't quicker to depend on someone else than solve the problem herself.
Tobs did that part right, but forcibly marrying and doing the how saltmine shit ruined any spark of potential your daughter, wife, and kitsune had. Imagine if you got quest to escort her to places in different countries and depending on what personality also depends on what missions you get? How your decisions while raising her could determine how she interacts with the world and you. Imagine you did you ignore her and fuck her mother, then she'd have an understandable dislike of you and you can choose whether you want to mend or simply don't care about.
I loved the hell out of Kiyoko and Kinu, I thought i was at a five star diner until the rats revealed themselves. Another fucking waste.
Yeah those were my thoughts. That stuff works in that game and DoL but I quickly got tired of the system because nothing really felt special.

Just a cool quest once she's outside to bond again, maybe something like Taken, Raphael captures Kinu and Kiyoko joins you in order to rescue her, you make a short visit to a stranded village under taothian's rule where you have to first, find her and then fight your way out, and depending of your relationship the way Kinu acts change, like, if you were absent she pretty much gives up and acts surprised that you're even there, maybe you could fix things with her by doing this?, or maybe you were a present figure through her early life and she never lost hope but because you tried to make things easier for her, this whole experience hits her pretty hard, can you help her to recover once this is over?, or maybe you were a little bit more firm and while she never lost her faith in you, she also wondered if maybe rescuing her was the right choice because this Kinu would be ok with dying if that means protecting her brothers and sisters, can you make your fox daughter understand that you would do anything for her and that is ok to let you help?. I know it's a lot of work but man, something like that would turn her from the annoying kid you love but have to tolerate into the precious daughter you want to protect, and it's only natural to want those things
