B worked on that genie Oma for a while now, and I think she's done now (aside from possible editing).
And I believe some more Ryn related content from Savin is due soon-ish.
Personally most looking forward to Ahmri stuff, I really like the pony.
Also, no futa characters. Another dry spell....sad.

They removed the resolve bar and turned both hp and that into one.
So yes, if 5 imps spam tease you, you'll die 100% in normal difficulty and lose the combat encounter itself even if your allies are still up.
Nice design right there, devs.
Savin's description is alright. I may toss shade (even more so recently thanks to the months poor showing). But, Savin is a talented writer which is an opinion I've stated in the past...
However!
The thought of that fellow writing a character who needs a slowburn and only fucks who she loves is at odds with the authors perpetual tendency towards voyeurism, casual sex, and threesomes. If not on release then later you'll see some other companions joining in without having to pay the 'love tax'. Which, while not written by Savin, is the case of Atugia.
Anyways Jstar is alright. Drifa was basically always written as both a passion project and a job application as he wants to be let into the circle. Can't comment on the quality of Tetsuya or w/e his name is as I'm not into dudes. Usually. Bubs pushed my boundaries with Berwyn's bottom scenes. Not exactly new news however as Jstar has been working on this since before Tetsuya. Also still 'just' a commissioned writer.
Fleeps generally alright. In the same sphere as Gardeford where even the non sexual submissions (far and between those may be) are of a generally enjoyable quality.
Like, differences of opinion aside. These aren't untalented unskilled individuals. Just... obstinate.
Oh. And the recent output is still pretty embarrassingly low.

I like them both. I should state that when I say 'just" I mean Jstar afaik isn't getting paid a salary or anything like that. So any output at all is a blessing. That the project being worked on is pretty good at a foundational level with features that just seem excellent is also a bonus.
That's dead. As far as I can tell the community that kept that mod lost interest in the game for some reason I couldn't possibly guess (that's sarcasm) and went their separate ways.
Now I want to read the adventures of Chad Thundercock weird corrupted tentacle monster thing, and I doubt I'm the only one. It does sound more like a comic than a game though

Now mind you. I can't assume what happened or even if Hugs is telling the full truth or is a reliable narrator to begin with given that he self-admitted that he has/had a lot going on.
Who knows what the situation was like. Maybe B was already balls deep in a rework using his interpretation of what Berwyn's ideas were and by the time contentions came in it was way too late and would be wasted effort to even bother to change. Maybe nobody cared. Maybe it was an intentional dig.

Honestly I still can't believe how bare bones some of the companions are, especially since savin absolutely HAD to design CoC II around a party system.

Having played BG3 for the last couple weeks, half the problem of the game in this game is that even at a base level it doesn't carely nearly enough about the MC's skills and abilities (shocker). Even just look at B's docs. It's a widespread issue and not just on him, but still. His new commissioned character just kinda catches us in a trap and no amout of int, dex or strength will make my character not look like a fraud because it's hardcoded he needs to be hanging by his foot and at the mercy of yet another character who could off him, because.
(Which, conversely, also reduces the impact of being caught in the trap, or being made to look like a fool, or failing the roll, since there's no roll to fail and that's just how things go.)
Also, as a sidenote, kind of hilarious that Agni got some crumbs from Savin (with the harpy) but gets not even one custom line of dialogue here and there from her own writer. Even Atugia gets that. No idea how they figured swapping out Berwyn with a commisioned companion was a good idea. Luckily can just throw her ashes to the wind and pretend she doesn't exist.

Another update, another dissapointment, hell at least when it came to sets Atugia had the decensy of gaining powers that were stealable, I'm left checking Cait and Azyrra's new powers and thinking "...I want that."
P.S: Is it just me or Cait getting a whole new set while the MC gets a measley Kaelirra's Tear the equivalent of your sister getting a Nintendo Switch while you're given a Hershey Chocolate?
