Me personally I always beat the Skrull-wannabe-Slimes and (consequently) save Jill...if only cuz she knows where my & Feruze's child is (like hell I'm gonna be on bad terms with the ONLY dick-free shark-girl that's also a nympho and hella likeable character) and because I'm not comfy with the idea of skrull-like slimes lurking around space, just waiting the day for them to come and do the same to me cuz I became Steele Tech's CEO.

IDK I kinda liked how she attacked us when we went back to the temple confusing us by cultist stragglers, getting to know her and eventually railing her body (because it was being way more honest than her) and the implication that Carmilla fired her because she couldn't keep it together was sort of hilarious to me.

Just yeah, never understood why her introduction had to be changed, the new one feels more...meh/lackluster compared to slowly winning her over.

I know, 'Its a porn game', but without any feelings attached to the character all interactions with such character and character itself becomes dull.

Romance in porn games just equals to pressing the talk button 5-6 times then smashing or doing a quest then smashing.

Personally I don't really find a meaningful distinction between friends and lovers if all I need to do to ungrey the fuck button is to press talk and skim over 2-3 different backstory drops I couldn't give less of a shit about. I wouldn't really call that attaching feelings to the character because people in real life aren't willing to actually go on 2 hour tangents of oversharing with you. Now the second measure porn game devs take with that is to split the "talking" phase into forced time limits, where you have to visit them every once in a while to progress. But again, all of this feels arbitrary as shit rather than an actual person to person interaction.

There's no real way to win when it comes to writing proper romance in a porn game, or at least I haven't really seen any.

I personally think romance in porn games can only really convincingly work by not trying to be like a "pure romance" at all, e.q. love born out of something other than traditional courting. Like Arona. I can somewhat buy Arona's romance because she is a batshit insane woman from a batshit warrior clan where defeating the shit out of her dozens of times might actually have gotten through her in a way. And you still have to take a while with her afterwards until she opens up. I can't buy any normal romances ever though, it will always devolve to shitty talk scenes.

Exactly.Im not saying that i like just having characters that exist soley for the purpose of cumming gallons in your chosen hole but imo trying to strike a balance(and ultimately failing) is way worse than JUST doubling down on the porn aspect.Youve set up your world to be this hyper sexualized,hyper polygamus sex-fest where everyone fucks everyone male,female,monster,fucking demon,ANYTHING and instead of doubling down on that and just make what everyone that plays this game wants,a porn game,a power fantasy where you fuck,get fucked and fuck some more you try to create a "deep and intricate story" that doesnt even abide by the first games lore.Just make a porn game for the sake of making a porn game man smh,you want romance in your porn?Be my guest but please for the love of all that is holy in this god forshaken world just know this sex=romance.Just because the {insert furry demon futa taur abimination number xx} wants to fuck you senseless does not mean that theres romance involved.Now i wont talk about aronas romance interactions(mainly because i enjoy her dom route so im biased) but we have things like clem(the sheep girl),which is some decent romance(also i think a guy way back wrote an expansion?).TLDR if you want to make a porn game,make a porn game.If you want to make a romance story,pls dont throw half assed romance that doesnt make sense into your unholy furry futadom game.
