thats a weird problem, but when im opening inventory, theres only my companions inventories, i cant equip anything on my character

You know, this reminds me of that one concept in the waning days of 4chan's /cocg/ threads of "Punished" Cait- Basically Cait from the bad future where the Champ got killed and her religion was used to corrupt the world. She ended up being time traveled to the beginning of the game to fix things. She's extremely clingy to the Champ, and hates promiscuity and her old counterpart.

I've been following along with the developments here, and I've got a host of ideas I'd like to make into mods for this game. I have a doc I've been adding to now and again whenever inspiration hits me or I see a random idea from this thread or all the way back from /cocg/. I've just been holding back as I wanted the coding process to get a bit more streamlined, and I also wanted to see what sort of "canon" developments Savin and co had in store so I'd know how much of a workload I'd have when it came to fixing their shit. I recently saw on their forums that they want to remove all the cut or unfinished content from the game when it nears completion. So things like, whatever bits of code that had Einin in it for example.

Dear GODS...She's perfect, I can already see the character and story potential but she'd need the champ to have personality to bounce off/banter with/clash with. Thing is Princess Savin n Co haven't given champ solid personality traits thst convey character even tho they have a dedicated corruption score tracker.

Yeah... I feel like that's one of the main aspects that needs focus on if this game is going to get an overhaul mod. Making personality traits for the champ. The ambitious concept would be making each background lead to a differing personality- with some changes based on how corrupt you are. Though... there's ten backgrounds and given the amount of dialogue in the game...

I think the main point is to first make everything tonally consistent. You can instantly tell when a scene is written by Savin/Tobs/B/Wsan/etc. because the champ acts totally different depends on who's writing. And even then, you have scenes where the champ randomly acts like the main girl in a romance anime whenever there's a love confession. To suddenly be down to fuck anything with a pulse whenever there's a lead up to a sex scene.

Not even the NPCs are consistent. I remember Takahiro's introduction scene and Nakano randomly acts like the champ's old pal, and Bubblelord keeps writing Nakano like this. It's jarring to see him yuk it up in goofy sitcom shenanigans and then you step into his office and he's back to being a floofy racist.

What you mean? The champ does have a personality!.... about 30 of them. Depending on what the writers need for whatever thing they be writing. If we could sue for whiplash, we'd win that case in a heartbeat.

We can use this as a visual representation of what's going on.

not to toot my own cock but i was compared to me3 renegade Shepard and palpatine at the time the main forums banned me.. but I do be on bullshit so we'll see how committed i am

Simple enough concept but open enough to do dang near whatever. Maybe because you hate yourself she was the champs lover. That accepted her chaste bootyhole god that shit is still funny as a sign of your true love for each other. Tack on some miracle kids for easy effect. Maybe just besties that became close. Comes back and maybe makes current Cait jealous. Hell add a twist where it was something Cait did to cause the champs death. Adding more reason for clingy and hate for her old self. Hell add a whole ass side thing where the future is leaking into the past. Explain away any new weapons, spells, etc. If she has to time travel back to the start of the game. Maybe knocked off course or she just ended up somewhere else. Need some time to build up the champ and Cait for that meeting to matter.

Hell I'm not even a writer and even my creative sticky juices are flowing.
