I wrote tfs for: being a crow monfolk (for male pcs who want to be birds! This one is actually approved and waiting to be coded), a hellhound tf, a wyvern tf, and some adjustments to the demon tf that make it so you can be a hooved, more draenei-like demon. I've been requested recently to make one for kobolds, so I'll be writing one for that soon as well! A dear friend of mine has tfs for mecians and squirrels in the que as well! I don't see why I can't add a chubby capybara tf to my list, but I can't promise anything!

The cult angle has been reworked, yes! Hopefully now his backstory and how he came to join the cult will garner him much more sympathy as someone who was trying to help out a close friend of his from falling into a bad crowd and getting pulled into himself, and is just trying to do better. I'm also hoping that I can make him more of a bro/wingman character for those that aren't into his sex/group content, since I've been reading that Brint's fulfilment of that roll is falling flat with this section of game audience.

As for ToBs, the most I can say is that he approved and passed a submission that was so subpar it basically had to almost be rewritten properly (which is crazy, because he is known as the harshest reviewer. I can only assume it's because it was from an avid kitsune fan and for a kitsune that had been in limbo). Ever since, he's basically disappeared from Discord and has even dropped down to part time. He used to do a lot of the review work, so having his review privileges revoked has slowed down the community review process tremendously.

On another note, I'm happy for the Berwyn rework because he has a sub and dom mechanic. I am not a Berwyn fan, his proclivities and interactions were not for me (just sucking himself off in his room most of the time. Jealous... yes. Interested? No). I didn't mind the genderbend, I am more into ladies anyhow and filling her with puppies. I think how it worked out was probably the best thing to do, in the timeframe given. Sometimes you just have to cauterize things. Plus it did allow for the introduction and appearance of the Astrida, so that does help move things along.

Yeah alot of people liked him, but the original Berwyn was a boring loser who only had one sub option, while most of his stuff was purely focused around his dick. No reciprocity, no real relationship, just comforting someone who is using you for comfort. Where was his shit going to go if not to something edgy or destructive? He'd need a total personality swap or for Hugs to actually give him more character than pouty mage baby. I wanted a trap wife companion whom I could love and pamper.

I want to get mad, but that's what the show is now. It grosses me out so much as soon as the original owner dies, these ideal-obsessed shippers take it over and turn it into a shit show.
And that's the shit I don't like. When something that is originally created by the owner is then taken over by another. And then the whole identity/character of what that thing is, is just gone.
Like, I live in perpetual fear of that happening to Berserk. As much of the author knew Muira, dude wrote peak once in (Holyland) and then nothing else worth mentioning.

Not by any means trying to strong-arm away from their own conclusions! This is what I've been told through my interactions with the devs and the community members that were there for it, since I joined the community a little bit after this all happened.


Regarding Quin's rewrites, Bubbles original plan for him was to be a spy undercover in the Cult who had access to ancient magic (the statute magic) that was also secretly a noble. The statue's original purpose was to act as a temporary Wayfort Dungeon to later rehabilitate cultists.

I felt like all of this was a bit much for a companion NPC, you know? He's essentially trying to be bunny James Bond. I don't want him to outshine the PC, I want him to have a story that the PC - should THEY decide to - can dig into and have a say in, should they decide to. The statue thing was specifically requested to be removed (which it was. I write for free and on my own time and I logically can't commit to writing a bunch of extra characters, even though it would've been super cool to have that rehabilitation stuff in Quin's story). That being said, I can understand the skepticism regarding his content going forward. I can only hope that, if interested, you'll give it a try and provide me with some honest feedback and criticism that I can use to grow as a writer.

The fact that you respect player agency shows you are leagues above most of the people you are working for. Also, even though this makes me a petty asshole, this supports my argument that the original Berwyn was dogwater. People clung to him because he fulfilled an archetype, but Hugs never added anything more to his character.

Regarding the mercs, I am planning to wrap up their content, as long as I can actually get around to it between my other projects. Their original plan was to have Leofric be the next mini boss for encounters, and then end it with a small dungeon, but that wouldn't be the way I go. I am unsure if I will be allowed to write them now or if they're slated to be axed. I'll have to double check with staff before going into it more.

Once they left the Merks, then most of them would follow, which would have the PC then going out and hunting down Leofric for a final showdown, (with the side option of temporarily recruiting Jen to help or corrupting and turning her into a demon to have her show up during the confrontation and drag him away never to be seen from again).

I was going to be livid because corrupting Jen and not getting her as one your slaves (like in the old game) sucks but it also makes sense because that's putting more on your workload. Probably better to not to corrupt her then sense it will probably hurt him more if the Real Jen opposes him.

I think you’ve got me mixed up with someone else. I didn’t have anything to do with Azami, and still don’t. The only fox writing I’ve done was Komari’s sex content — which, honestly, I confess I probably could have done better — and some Kiyoko scenes, plus some in-progress Kohaku stuff.

To try and answer your question, I really don’t know anything about what the game plan is for Takahiro/Azami’s whole mess; I’m just here to write women whose lives are hot messes, including a Katya overhaul in the near-ish future.

I've always hated the mercs and the weird story and gameplay segregation where they act like the shit-tier mobs they were hired to deal with but for some reason they're allowed in town and no one calls them out on their BS. Credit to Bluebird for at least wanting to complete them but I'd rather they just scrap Leofric and the merc concept and take Lusamine, Jen, and Boomer and make them their own thing. Though some ending is better than nothing at least and I'm not gonna fault someone for wanting to try. Bluebird's concept for their ending is better than the original imo. Though if implemented I hope demon Jen doesn't disappear.
