than anything else. Although his target audience likes him so it's probably me not getting it. Would be interesting to know if those into him are bothered by that stuff though, 'cause can't think of any female characters who are like that and generally well liked.

For me Brint was just the vanilla romance of this game. Which was nice as most character want to dom, sub or some other kink for the champ. Not kink shaming anyone, but vareity is the spice of life. This also why I think the male companions Brint, Berywn, and Ethryn almost all have their own place in the fandom, since they appealed to a different kinks. (with the exception of quin) If you want someone more docille and submissive with a micro-penis, you go for Ryn. Want the dude bro with a heart of gold and a horse cock, you choose Brint. And Berry filled the bratty Trap that'll dom you role. (Which a lot of people liked, because trap characters a typically just quirky or a sub) Naturally not everyone is going to like them, but they balanced each other out.

Now I do agree with you, besides being the strong, nice guy Brint does not have much going on. He does not have an arc or any goals besides adventuring. If he gets the champion pregnant he does mention might settle down with them but thats really it, as far as I know. This is part of the reason Brienne gets a lot of hate. Because she gets more development personality wise. If you asked me I'd rate the male companions like this Rynn, Brint and Berry. But that is manly due to how much content they get. Rynn by far has the most content and most development amongst the male companions, with Brint barely getting much in the ways of development these days. And Berry was all but forgotten until recently.

But I'm mostly repeating what other people have already said now.

Well as someone who really enjoys Brint's content I'll tell you the truth.............. His content is very poor when it comes to gay content, although maybe it's better for female characters.. ....... The special thing about brint is that he treats you like his favorite even when you know that he is fucking and impregnating everywhere he still prefers you over the others, the sweet way in which he treats the character , without forgetting that he has no problem with that after interacting enough with him you can fuck him and he has the best pregnancy content among the male characters, but even with all that it does not take away from the fact that wsan has put the he messes up some things like brint if you're a male character (I don't know if it's just me who feels that way or there are more) indirectly sends you a bit that he prefers you to be a woman with huge lactating breasts not much but sometimes it can be somewhat uncomfortable.

And without forgetting with the charming scene that brint can impregnate the priestess (I wonder who are the ones who enjoy that content, I don't judge them, it just makes me curious) also the scene that when helping the cow at the entrance of the city of korminus brint tells you how he should stop ignoring the hot cows or he will have to do something (I know it's not entirely correct but I don't remember the scene well and I prefer not to remember it) which breaks with the fact that for brint you are the most special ....... I almost forgot the scene that can happen when you travel through the town in which two women talking, one mentions how he would like to fuck with brint and that he should visit him to try and our character congratulating brint I don't remember if it was wsan who wrote it but that person kind of thinks we're stupid and wants to remind us how brint fucks with everything that has a hole besides us.

There are more things but for me those would be the main ones, of course it should also be noted that it is difficult to find games where they don't want to sissify you or give you emotional therapy as if you were going to play porn games to become a woman or check how good you are emotional state with all this brint is really a sigh of relief.

Savin has, as far as I know, never planned to give Ryn a vagina. He's repeatedly said that gender swapping is too much work

I feel like she'd be the easiest character to gender swap by far, though. Literally just remove scenes or mentions of her dick, then change "you fuck butthole" to "you fuck vagina". It's not like she has a plethora of content focusing on her dick, there's just 2 scenes of it. And for an extremely effeminate character like her, it just feels like giving her one is the natural thing to do - especially if they wanna do this weird ass pregnancy bullshit with Elthara.

Devs should not be in their comfort zone all the time writing only fetishes they like, at least for a game like this. He already has Arona, don't see why he should get 2 companions that have to be right down his alley specifically.

I come back after a short hiatus and find that the devs think they're so big they can remove content because of some BS reason... This is sounding like Breeding Season all over again. Maybe if the project was a lot less hostile the writer wouldn't have left.

At least add a toggle so players can go between new / old content. Or let us actually mod the game to suit our interests better if content is going to be removed. It makes no sense for a fetish game to remove fetishes because the product manager's ego extends to Mars.

We're not talking about handing off a company or world ending project. It's an OC, a decently complex one at best, simple at worst. This bullshit about it being unavailable for the time being... we all know once content is removed it's not coming back, else Shar would be a companion by now.

The best part is they don't have to have Ryn keep the vagina if they're so adamant about it. Just either have the goddess of fertility & breeding help you out or have Ryn get a temp vagina and something to speed up the pregnancy and do a small time skip or event chain. We have precedent for it like when building the way fort, marrying Kiyoko, or when you go to the cloister. You could even have the player ask Evergreen to make you something to speed up pregnancy and just pay her fee. There is literally not a single reason for there to be this heir issue for players without vaginas.

Makes me wish they'd flashed out her low confidence route more. Or, well, any. Right now it just feels like her initial state, and fair enough that purposefully breaking down her psyche to become the power behind the throne would be severely fucked up, but goddamn it shit writes itself and i wanna be smart evil for a change.

I don't really have strong feelings about Brint, I like him cause he's one of the few males in the game, but I don't think he's amazing. He's just a vanilla, bara bull guy, although it feels like he was designed for female PC.

Him fucking around with others doesn't really bother me and it rarely happens in my playthrough.
What does annoy me though is that you can't really dom Brint, since the PC needs to get topped first to unlock his sex menu.

Based off what the original writer is saying, they were forced out, not that they left. Which if thats the case it makes the devs look worst, as they fired someone without finding a replacement writer. And there should be no excuse about cost as they should be able to use the money they were paying hugs to hire a new writer.

But the long and short is I agree with you. Whether Hugs quit or was fired it would be on the devs to fix the situation instead of playing the blame game.

I can't speak about 4chan or the discord server as I haven't been on them, but nothing being said here hasn't been said on Fenexo's site or steam. Some people believe its because the devs can't control whats being said over here. I always just chalked it up to this site being more vocal in its criticism and some of the devs are to thin skinned to handle it. I know I've only been on this forum for about a week, but the criticism seems pretty tamed for the most part, and a lot people also offer advise to fix the issue.

P.S This has the same vibes as Disney and Kathleen Kennedy saying that only misogynist and bots disliked the new star wars trilogy. But if you interact with anyone who says they disliked the new star wars they'll usually say its because it breaks the established canon and doesn't work as a narrative. They have legitimate grievances, can point to them and sometimes will offer advice on how to improve the content. But for content creators it is easier to attack their critics instead of address the criticism.

Promiscuity doesn't spread corruption. Especially with Mallachites, as they are priests and actually seem to cleanse corruption. Plus, this isn't even the Mallachite region, Cait's the only one in the area before you build the temple.

And in universe, it hasn't been that long; I'd assume it probably hasn't been more than maybe a month or two since Kas showed up, story-wise. Cas is mostly working on corrupting specific areas and you keep undoing her work.
