Going from the spoiler in the last post, It's a new "CG" on par with the Dazlia one where it's just some persons commissioned OC being used as the CG of the self insert champion in the game rather then using proper vague shape routes that don't break headspace like they've done successfully for years in TiTS. Which I have issues with. We don't have entire race TF's because they didn't want scenes to not account for player configuration so to make the visual "face" of the player this thing that's not the player puts me off now as much as it did then with Daliza.

The newly added dates have no sex nor romance. It's essentially compensated dating with some very pointless dialogue. What the fuck was the point?

I'm sure it's just to set the foundation for another character expansion. Maybe it's the first crumbs that will finish with the conclusion of the Evergreen "storyline". Alright so before that, that date had next to player input or engagement at all. In the case of the wayfort there was actually no player engagement at all. Just big ass expositions that happen to, what the author insists is, your MC while you're flogged into a state of unconsciousness by the authors gift of gab.

It's (probably) not supposed to be romantic and is instead meant to somehow ingratiate the player into another character by expanding on them. Though that's a bit odd. At this point Meira and (potentially) the main character have been intimate in every way under the sun while Meira and (definently) other lovers as according to Senja absolutely have been intimate in every way under the stun. I thought you weren't supposed to care about the promiscuous ones. But, the blushing "maiden" peck on the cheek has about as much impact as the blushing "maiden" anal virgin shtick where it doesn't matter at all and means nothing due to who the character is already established as being.

At any rate, it's time to let the game bake in the oven for another few years.

Then you get to the second slice...the Kitsune and the smell hits you "ugh why did the chef just shit in my pie?" you cry out in disgust at the baker, " there's litteraly no reason for you to shit in my pie, why would you do this?" The baker just smiles smugly folding his arms and responds "ooh sounds like someone got a dose of a REALITY CHECK, maybe you should learn from this and appreciate my art." The baker laughs cutting himself a slice of the pie before shoving it in his mouth. You sit there in abject confusion and little horrified, how could someone be so full of themselves that they proudly eat their own feces and laugh in your face for not liking it? Then you realized you were not at a bakery, your in a pizza hut inside a cheap mall thats holding a furry convention and you say "oh yeah that's why" you then get up to play Liliths Throne or wait for the coc 2 mod to come out

How is this compared to trials in tainted space?

Aside from all the other bullshit, if you want to feel like you actually have an effect on the world at large then play tits. The story of this game begins and ends without you, there's plenty of people to be a better "Champion" and they already are... The only noticeable effect you can have in CoC2 is how evil Kasyrra is it feels like.

Whereas in TiTS, you can just... let a planet blow up, and it will lock you out of content. Like an actual, tangible consequence for your action/inaction. Characters can be completely changed by your actions/inactions as well, see Penny and Kiro. TiTS may lack focus, may still be a buggy mess, implement features that irritate me to no end (ship battles), and have that edgelord bunny chasing you everywhere but it lets your PC feel like the PC. It does a good job of making you feel like Captain Kirk, and that's awesome. (It also doesn't limit your level ups to a point where every enemy outlevels you, figured out how to balance lust damage rather than be rid of it, etc)
