That's the thing though, it's not even presented that way - the samurai dude even flat-out tells you that no matter how useful you make yourself or how friendly everyone acts toward you, they'll never actually consider you one of them. Hell, even said fox god says something like how even if transformed you'll probably always be seen as if not an outsider, at least as a weirdo given your lack of cultural indoctrination.

last month only had 2 patch releases while November just barely had 3. i'm counting the Dec 1st release as November because i'm pretty certain it was supposed to release earlier than it was, but regardless it's still a fact that there was only 5 patches between 2 months no matter how you split them. We used to get a consistent 4 patches per month, then it slowed to around 3 per month a year ago and now they're not even managing that.

looks like another month with only 2 patches released, I doubt they'll release another before Feb
