...Huh? Am I missing something or is that a pathetically tiny act 2? You know, what's typically supposed to be the longest act of a creative work? Act 1 had several areas to explore, lots of lore, lots of side quests, interact with a lot of characters, etc. And KM is just gonna be... what? 2 and a half areas to explore(that probably won't get much content tbh also one is half because TOBS), some side character sex scenes that don't really go anywhere, and a colosseum quest? Are there even any side quests besides Nihara's temple thing and the new vulpine lady? And no Brienne's family and the centaur relocation don't count because it's literally just going back and forth between NPCs, and not in any meaningful way.
As cynical as I can be with the devs, I really don't think KM is wrapping up like you say it is. It would need a lot more content to come even close to matching the first act.

Dunno what to tell you. This was literally the final quest of Act 2. There's a post Act 2 celebration like Winter's ball, and that's it for the Act.
KM has a few more things coming; arena, some more interaction with the palace royals is likely. There was one more area which was the slums; but I've seen talk of it already being cut, with no official confirmation either way (which usually isn't good).
They've already started on the next areas leading onwards.

The standard has never been lower for a 5* review, LIMITED character customization via transformations with zero benefits other than aesthetic which already makes zero sense. It's like getting a scorpion tail, dragon scales and giant sharp claws but they don't do shit in combat. I can't even get my fantasy of being an eldritch horror with penises for fingers so this review is already untrue in the first place.

I dont know how you reached that conclusion considering the entire point of the most recent Khor'minos main story quest is preparation for an upcoming fight.
it's simple, really... the ball was boring and the Khor'minos royalty were all unappealing, so I basically forgot everything that took place. Reading it after dragging my sleep-deprived ass through a twelve hour shift probbaly didn't help
