I know a huge complaint in the community is about dickifying women, but I wouldn't mine dickifying Brienne.
I understand where you're coming from, but not nearly that passionately. I'd rather it be a different character or something that separates them more.

I'd rather them be EITHER more similiar or be different characters. Atm Brienne doesn't really act like genderswapped Brint. I'd rather have her act more like Brint than a new character, or actually be a new character.
I believe Wsan has said if he did it again he'd do it differently, like just make Brienne an NPC, but don't quote me on that.

Brienne and Kiyoko specifically aside, kitsune have magic (usually) and fluffy tails. Cowgirls...lactate a lot I guess? (yuck!) and maybe have cute horns.
Cowgirls 80% of the time fall into the boring "human wearing animal ears" side of monster girls, and I for one am tired of it. TIRED, I say.
If their monster girl attributes bring nothing, they are relegated to bottom of the pile, with cat girls and ausar.
Would not say no to more catgirls that act like cats, honestly. Give me a waifu who runs away screaming when you set a zucchini down behind her, or goes for 2am jogs.

....What do Kitsunes bring to the table? Have fluffy tails and ears? That's literally it. Maybe some boring magic but that's not even a guarantee. Kitsune are almost the same as cat girls but just different flavoring. Cute ears and tail(s) and that's it. Cowgirls are better simply because they're both cute and less common. If I didn't see a kitsune every 5 seconds when seeing some generic waifu bait I'd probably rank them higher, but as of right now it's just the same as sliced bread. It has its applications and can be used in a variety of ways, but by itself isn't that great.
Problem with this logic is vast majority of monster girls fit this bill, which isn't fair to the genre. If we're talking generally, most monster girl attributes that play a large factor into physicality just have their lower halves replaced with whatever thing they're supposed to be imitating. Which is fine, but isn't that much better imo(totally not me seething as a foot degen).
Unless you're also talking about just abilities in general, in which case I agree. There are a lot of unique designs for monster girls and I wish some of the lesser known ones got some love.
